Instead of 2 stars I give 5 stars for the excellent grow bulbs and excellent customer service.Original review: Sansi grow bulbs are great, but the lamp died within a month... so now I have to look for a new lamp. I was only using 1 bulb at the time for 12 hours. I also feel the neck length is too short for the strength of the bulbs so placement can be difficult with the clip style. If it weren't for the bulbs I'd give it 0 stars.

Great lights !Works better clipping low and have the lights going up. I clipped mine on a bar ad pointed the lights down, they did flop a bit but not too bad. You can add a bit of string to help support them if you clip the lights above the lights.

This grow clip on light has a very strong clip, so wherever you place it, it will hold. Portions of the light around the ring do get hot so avoid that area. The gooseneck makes it easy to direct it towards the plants that may need extra light. Even though my plants are in front of my window, the glass has a tint to it so it’s like they are getting indirect light instead of some sun.

I’ve bought two of these, have had them for almost a year, it works and it works well.My plants grow really well under these lights. The light the bulbs emit give off a bright, pleasant, slightly cool color that looks like natural light. This was a big plus for me because the violet light that traditional grow lights give off is off-putting and irritates my eyes.The timer is a great, must-have feature. You can set it and forget it for the most part. There’s room for improvement. Any time you unplug the lights or have a power outage you have to re-set the timer. Gives me flashbacks to having to reset the time on a VCR. Not a big deal, just annoying for me who’s constantly fiddling with the placement of grow lights. And I wish there were a way to control the lights through an app so I can set the timer at any time. Right now if I want to set these lights to turn on at exactly 7 AM I have to wait by the lights to turn them on and set the timer at 7 AM.I also wish these lights had a dedicated stand to just place on top of a surface. Or maybe a way to mount onto a wall. These lights can only be clipped onto things. Clipping isn’t always the sturdiest or most reliable way to place these, and I’ve run into some logistical issues that could be solved with other methods of placement.The bulbs can get really hot. Accidentally graze it for a second and it burns your skin. It feels like touching a Bluth Company Cornballer. Never. Touch. The bulb. Relatedly, if plant foliage grows close enough to the bulbs, the bulbs will scorch the plant because of all the heat it emits. This isn’t surprising considering how strong these bulbs are, but they’re worth noting. Again: Never. Touch. The bulbs. Please.The necks of these lights are not strong or sturdy enough to reliably hold up these bulbs. It seems like the bulb is too heavy for the neck so it’s really hard to keep the bulbs in place. Again, as a constant fiddler this is a frustrating pain to have to deal with. If Sansi could figure out how to build a stronger neck, this would be a nearly perfect product.If any more issues arise, I’ll update this review. Overall, I’m happy that these grow lights still work a year later. The lights themselves are excellent. Most importantly, my plants are happy and healthy under these lights. But Never touch the bulb.

Perfect for the plant hobbyist in small space propagating house plants. Plants love it and the timer is a great plus.

The media could not be loaded. I wanted to give this a higher rating but:- the lights droop when you adjust the goosenecks making this far less useful than intended. It seems high quality but then… wooomp.- it’s smaller than it’s made to look in the listing- bulbs get very hot… they won’t burn you if you touch quickly but if you were to hold it they definitely wouldThe price is pretty okay, and I love that you can turn each light on individually. The timer function is straight forward. I think they’re decently useful, but the instances where it would work well is greatly diminished.I have this unit clipped vertically in these captures, but clipping it to the side of a table (upright, normal position) doesn’t improve the stability of the arms.
