New golf games are getting rarer, give this a go unless you have an attitude.
Found this available recently so took a risk. Firstly, it runs on my old win7 laptop, so no problem there. However, despite a long session spent searching for a patch, it seems there isn't one. Shame. Apparently the makers only have about 5 games in their stable, so.....what can you do?My online and offline years with golf stretch back to Links 97/98/etc, thru PGA etc, and I got disenchanted when I played Tiger Woods to a standstill and all I got was a red jumper to wear. Now of course, there are lots of those old games still available at good prices, and I have seen that there are patches available for at least Links 2001 and I think it was 98...sooooo, if you just want a cheerful enough golf game to play on your old pc/laptop, and you don't require a full set of bells and whistles then this one will let you and 3 friends or family spend a couple of hours having a laugh. Yes, those bells and whistles allow you to play a more complicated game, and allow you to be pleased with yourself as you watch your skills increase over time, but not everybody wants that. I used to play golf in real life, and not once did I see any grids laid out on the greens, or wind direction indicators, etc. This game is fine for the price, if you want more polish, you need to look elsewhere. Game of golf?
This is probably the worst golf game that I have seen. Graphics like these were last seen on our Sega mega drive games console(which at least had real players represented). The option in the game for altering the course or the weather is there but does not change the way the game operates. There are no options for adding slice, fade, or spin to the shot. There are several courses but they do not look realistic and as for the spectators well the less said the better. There is nothing to show your skill progression over time as no stats are recorded anywhere. There are no competition games e.g. The Open or the Masters which are played aver several rounds. Having said that there is no option to save at any point in the game. This game needs to be re-thought and re-issued at a higher standard or the customer should be warned that this game is only for children under five. The manufacturers of this game should offer all purchasers the option of their money beck.

What a Lemon of a game
EA Sports are well known for their games but this game is unbelievably bad nowhere near the Tiger Woods of old I have actually really struggled to give it 1 star its so bad no play by play commentary only the crowd oowing and arring definitely not worth the money

Although it states on the User System Requirements list that it is compatible for Windows 7,my windows 7 Premium hasadvised the game is not compatible for Widows 7, and Frame Freezes happen quite often. So I have Uninstalled the game on Expert Advise warning of Computer Crash possibilities, NB, Is it Possible to return this game for a Refund?. With Regards, Dennis Richard Cole.

Very good, could not find a replacement for my old Tiger Woods game that would play on windows 8.1 and 10, This works on both.

Poor game engine
I gave this game as a gift to a relative who has a number of golf games. He was not impressed. Slow to load, very prone to crashing, poor graphics and does not run well under Windows 7 despite the boast on the packaging. Kept it only because it is for a good cause.
