Prince of Wales: A Biography

Can't Wait to Read!
The book came in the expected time frames and was in very good condition. I skimmed through it today and it looks like a very interesting read about Prince Charles and his life from birth until around 1994. It seems like this is his side of the story of a less than ideal childhood up to the end of the Wales's marriage and seperation. I wanted to buy this book to get the other side of the public view of Prince Charles after reading Princess Diana's book written by Andrew Morton. In general, my conclusion and opinion, both Prince Charles and Princess Diana held their share of problems before they married in July 1981 and were totally unsuited for each other. This is the Princes take on his life with cooperating sources. It makes me think that if the marriage didn't take place, Diana might still be alive and a lot of heart ace on both sides could have been avoided.

Comprehensive documentation with great insights into what it means to be a Windsor royal
Awfully long, but insightful. Well documented with lots of source notes. I admit that I did skip some of the bureaucratic passages, and I do sympathize with Prince Charles about having to deal with those boring duties, but most of it was really interesting. This book should be read, though, in the context of lots of other books on the royals. This one, of course, is very pro-Charles, so there you have it. Real them all and cast your thoughts widely on the royal family and the monarchy in general.

Thorough History of the Prince and His Family
Even though the book is quite big it is quite frankly one of the most detailed and thorough books on the Prince I think. The only bad part is that when it comes to the Prince's interaction with Diana the author (either intentionally or not) left out crucial details worsening the matter for the Prince. But however I thought he did a fairly good job in staying neutral and not taking the Prince's side too much.

Prince Charles is a very, busy. Contrary to his public and sneaky critics he doesn't walk around inside of Clarence House or on his private estate complaining. Unfortunately, at the time of the printing of the book - Prince Charles doesn't realize that Camilla was determined and did ruin his marriage to Princess Diana.
