The easiest and best installation instructions I've ever seen.It would be hard to properly measure and mount for different brackets on opposite sides of an opening but they have you covered. There are bracket mounting strips that you can use and they have sticky tape on the back already so they attach easily, when you're done they peel right off and leave no residue and the installation is perfect. There is a quick installation guide and a larger more thorough installation guide that is very large and easy to see and read. And they give you almost twice as many screws and drywall anchors as needed so when you do drop one or can't find it it's not a problem.Installation was so easy and such a joy. I was so happy going through the installation it makes my entire Outlook of the product better.Once installed, easy to use. Locks and unlocked easily. Slides with ease. Enough of a barrier to keep kids in the dog on the side they're supposed to be on, but not so easy to climb over. It's a strong mesh, it breathes and moves air easily it's fairly firm, and it's see through but unlike a permanent or metal barred gate can't support you in order to climb over it. Easy enough to step over for adults.At first I was looking for something and thought the price might be a little high but it is worth every penny

I purchased 2 sizes of this retractable gate to keep our 4 legged critters out of our kitchen area. The height his tall enough to keep out the tallest one and the bottom sits about 1" above the ground so no small ones can crawl under. The material is very sturdy and well made and installation was very easy and took about 20 mins to install both of them and that was at old man speed. The kit comes with paper templates that stock to the wall. The templates show you where to drill the holes for the wall mounts. I took more time verifying that the templates were level and even than I did to install the mounts and gate. So far I am liking this product but time will tell if the retracting system will hold up to a hundred opening and closings a day.

I would have give a 5 star review if the box that the gate came in had not been obviously reused and re-taped and not in good condition. Granted that may have been the delivery service fault. But missing instructions inside a sealed plastic bag inside the box is a different matter. When I opened the box the wall guide sheet(s) for mounting the hardware were missing. That took the install from a 25 min. time period advised by the manufacturer to over two hours of painstaking measuring and careful drilling to finalize the assembly. That was frustrating, all as a result of a missing critical part of the install. With the install completed, the gate has performed as expected and is well built of high quality material. I would recommend it to pet owners as well as parents with toddlers and or a baby.

we bought this to stop our cat from going down the stairs. Before we bought this, we had cardboard cut outs from a large screen TV box that he would jump over. While this is only a few inches taller than the box, it’s still enough to prevent him from wanting to jump over it. Works well, and I’ve had it for months now without a problem. I feel like you have to be careful though, it’s similar to the old style pulldown shades that you put in windows. If you pulled it out to close it and then accidentally let it go. I feel like you might break it.

We have 3 of these gates set up on our deck so our dogs don't get off the deck. We have had 2 of them for almost 2 years and the third just over a year and we love them. So easy to set up and so easy to retract.One of our pups broke a lower latch bracket trying to sneak out the other day. I contacted the company to see if we could just buy another latch bracket. Within an hour I heard back from them saying they don't supply parts, BUT they are guaranteed for 2 years. I just had to send them a picture of the broken part. So I did, and very shortly after I received an email saying they are sending me the entire gate as a replacement! Never have I been so surprised. The customer service is amazing and I should have my new gate by the end of this week.I can't say enough about this product and their customer service.

This is exactly what I needed for my puppy! This helps keep her in my office with me during the day while she is still in training. It looks so much nicer when it’s in use, it’s much lower profile than other baby gates when not in use, and it’s so much easier to open/close than other gates, as well. Easy set up. I couldn’t be happier, and I think this is a must have for puppy owners who don’t want to deal with the difficult and less attractive baby gates. I’m very pleasantly surprised, given how inexpensive this is.

I bought this for the top of my stairs to keep my kids from falling down. It works great and isn't hard for my 5 and 4 year old to work. I ended up buying a second one for our deck. We have had it for over a year now and it is still working after being through snow, ice, rain and high wind.

Safety Gate works great. It's easy to install and easy to use just make sure the gate and the latches are level or it can be hard to latch. That's the only thing I noticed but once we fixed it and made sure the latches were the exact same height across from gate it latched perfectly! We use it to keep our big dogs out of the living area while we do playtime on the floor with the baby. Very lightweight but sturdy at the Sametime. It also retracts and I pulls out easily.
