Exactly what I needed. I had a worldwide doors latch that broke and they wanted significantly more money to replace it through them. This was an identical alternative at much more reasonable price.

Delivery was fast. Asked a couple of questions online and got immediate response. Drawings and pic was exactly as shown. This item is for someone who needs the locking mechanism to extend upward 18 inches .

This exact locking mechanism came on the french doors to my office. The part was stamped worldwide, but that one was impossible to find. I pulled it out and replaced it with this one. Simple to install, easy to configure the length and sturdy enough.

Excellent quality. Works great. Shipped fast. I was able to repaced this in a door I ordered for a new build that I'm doing. So I was con ern about the quality. We it arrived I was well pleased.

The length is longer than advertised. It is 18 1/2 inches. I could have made 18 inches work, but really need 17 1/2. The issue is not in the rod itself, but the bolt. I've compared to others at stores and it extends about 1 3/4 inches further than the average ones, I just can't get my color.Over all I like the construction of the flush bolt, it seems well made. So, I will keep it and see if I can get a shorter rod.
