Yes, you can use the SumUp app to manually enter credit card information for your customers! This feature is called Virtual Terminal.

Here at SumUp, we do our utmost to ensure that we have security measures in place to protect our merchants. As part of this process, we have stringent processes in place to ensure that this high-security standards are met. For your peace of mind, we can assure you that no personal account information is stored on the card reader, and if you believe that your account details may have been compromised or if your reader has gone missing, then you can contact us and we would be able to apply the necessary security measures. We would always recommend issuing invoices for transactions to protect yourself from potential chargebacks.

Q: How does it hook up with iPhone?

The SumUp Air card reader connects using Bluetooth technology. This means you will have no cords or cables connected to your device!

Q: What if one of my clients wants a receipt ... can I get one or print one up ...?

Once your customer signs for the transaction. It will prompt them if they would like a receipt. They have the option to choose between email, text or no receipt. You will be able to view all the receipts and reports through your personal dashboard at sumup.me.
