Well made product that lasts
I have had this collar for a year now and it has worked as promised. I have a German Shepherd with fairly long fur. No problem I just made sure the contacts were against skin when I put on the collar. The batteries have lasted well over the year and recharged well. It has been used in all types of situations as my dog is a search and rescue dog and often goes out in the wild. I really like the fact that the option of vibration or tone may be used without shock. I use them frequently in fact my dog has now been trained to recall when the tone sounds. Yes this device does require YOU to train your dog. The vibration before shock in needed situations trains them to expect a shock so eventually you don't even need to shock. I found the highest vibration and tone sound is best for my 70 pound pooch, but you will need to determine that for your situation and dog. I use the shock very rarely now only when my dog gets a bit territorial or protective of her yard. She learns fast and settles down with the vibration now. A great product that weathers the sun and rain well and doesn't come off unexpectedly. The only negative I could say is that the collar loosens over time when worn by your dog and sometimes needs to be tightened for good contact with the skin (I expect this is only a problem for my long hair pooch). Otherwise I highly recommend this TRAINING device (*Yes you need to train your dog with this it is not a magic cure for behavior).

Economical, well made and easy to set up
I have only opened and charged the product so far. The product was packaged well and materials are high quality. Both the collar and charger have a light to indicate they are charging and the process is quick. After charging and during use, make sure there is a flashing green light. Now I need to learn about usage.... I may come back later and post further details after I use the collar on my dog.UPDATE 10/23/24:This is an incredible product! It is very versatile as it has several settings and intensity levels. I have a 1.5 year old Yellow Labrador Retriever. I used the vibration setting on the remote and put the intensity level at "10" to correct several behavioral issues with my dog. This setting only gave my dog a vibration but it stopped my dog in his tracks immediately. His initial response was to look behind himself as he thought he was being attacked by something. He soon realized that when he disobeyed commands or came near particular plants, places or things he received a buzz. It only took one or two instances of buzzing to get him to stop a bad behavior. This product is nothing less than miraculous. I only regret not purchasing this product sooner. When my dog was a puppy, he created lots of frustration acting out his will.My dog had the following behavioral issues: 1) not responsive (ignoring) commands to come into the house when outside, 2) urinating on sensitive rose and other flowering bushes and burning them, 3) twisting his head to the ground and flopping over so that it was impossible to take put on/take off his tie-out lead from collar, 4) grabbing soil from my potted plants and eating it (he kept getting parasites from this behavior), and 5) grabbing paper, plastic of all sorts, and other objects/materials off the floor or out of garbages and eating it and making messes. To begin his behavioral training, I simply carried the remote with me any time I walked around the house or took my dog outside to poddy. When I witnessed a bad behavior, I pushed the upper most left vibrate button and gave him a 'buzz." When my dog received a buzz he became highly irritated and a bit spooked by the buzz and instantly stopped the bad behavioral and vacated the area. Sometimes my dog goes back to a bad behavior a second time within minutes, however, when he receives a second 'buzz" he does not return a third time. I previously mentioned the 5 top behavioral issues that my dog had and one was urinating on rose and other delicate flowering plants... I taught him over the course of one day that he couldn't urinate on certain plants without getting a "buzz." Since this time he has never urinated on these bushes, but does so on other bushes (oleanders) that are tougher than nails. So, you can actually train your dog to poddy in certain parts of your yard and stay away from others (like delicate plants, a newly planted tree, or real or synthetic grass as examples).Every once in awhile my dog may want to exercise his will and go back to a bad behavior like twisting his head to the ground while attaching the tie-out cable/lead to his collar. (Not sure why this has been such a challenge to correct!) In this instances, I start to carry around the remote control for a day or two and anytime he misbehaves, I correct him with a "buzz." And wah lah he's broken of this bad behavior for another spell of time.In earlier times, these types of collars were called "shock collars" and actually inflicted a bit of pain. However, with this collar there are so many different setting including noises and vibrations that are very humane and do not harm dogs but only serve to startle and scare. My dog has never cried or whimpered during/after a buzz. This setting only startles him. Before you use a setting, I suggest using the setting on yourself against a clothed leg. If the setting hurts you-don't use it on your dog.One last comment... Both the remote and collar have a flashing green light when working. When either doesn't have the flashing green light it is out of charge or not switched "on." The remote and collar run out of charge around the same time. When one device runs out of charge the other usually runs out a day or two later so charge them both around the same time so that they are on the same charging cycle. I have tried to use the collar several times when it was out of charge and wondered why it didn't work. Haha...I highly recommend this product for its price competitiveness, quality, safety and overall effectiveness. This definitely was a game-changer for me and my dog and has eliminated many frustrating reoccurring acts of disobedience in a humane way. This product has dramatically improved the relationship between me and my dog by increasing our happy moments and eliminating a lot of frustration. Happy dog parenting! :)

Great Overall: Pros and Cons
This is my 3rd training collar and though brand new I am most excited about this one. My dog is small and stubborn and I have only had to use vibrate and sound and he obeys instantly.1. Love that the lights when charging are bright and easy to read.2. Simple, easy, not bells and whistles but clear and appears sturdy, heavier duty than the previous Frayo one.3. Easy to turn on and off, the Frayo was not easy AND after 2 charges the collar would no longer charge at all.4. I hate complicated directions, and the quick guide included, simple photos, made it easy.Things they could improve on:1. The collar works for dogs 10lbs and up BUT for my small dog I wish you could cut off the excess length. But DO NOT DO IT, it frays and will be awful.2. The magnetic charging attachment on the collar is sensitive so be sure it is charging and not touched or knocked or the charging will stop. But I do like the one cord with 2 separate head attachments.I got this on sale for $39.99 so great value. Time will tell on durability.

Outstanding product
This collar is amazing! My husband and I are so impressed! Our 8 month old basset hound baby ran away and we were terrified that someone stole him! Thankfully as my daughter and I were riding around we saw one of our neighbors walking him down the road to bring him back. Ordered this collar and what a difference it has made! Our fur baby listens with just the “beep” now! Only had to shock him once on 5, when he didn’t listen with the beep or vibrate. of course our daughter and I tried it out first, but that’s all it took for him to listen when we call him! So if the beeping doesn’t work then all it takes is the vibration and he comes running back! (We have three acres).I highly recommend this product and seller! Nice secure packaging and quick delivery! Adjustability is easy. Has a long battery life and distance range! Visibility and functionality is awesome! Thank you! 💯🙌
