En la descripción mencionan que para conectarlo a servicios de internet requieren la versíón con el Hub Wifi, sin embargo para Homekit, si tienes apple TV o un iPad como central de casa, se puede utilizar sin necesidad del módulo Wifi, solo hay que configurarlo por completo como bluetooth con el App de Yale y contactar a soporte de Yale y solicitarles el código de Homekit de la chapa, amablemente me lo dieron y funciona perfectamente, además yo lo enlace con un teclado August y funcionan de maravilla, OJO que es para uso de confianza, me refiero a que evitara que los niños o familia abran un cajon o puerta pequeña, pero de ningun modo evitara que alguien mal intencionado lo abra si lo hace con la fuerza suficiente.

I have an August Smart Lock Pro for deadbolt lockset for door for the past 3 years. It has never given me problems in terms of reliability. The ability to manage access rights is a critical feature that is well designed.This Yale Smart Cabinet Lock again beats the other generic brands lock in terms of reliability! The other locks have given me problems with connectivity and access sharing which rendered them unreliable. With Yale, I feel assured that I will not loss access to my cabinets.Update 2024: I have been using 3 of these Yale Smart Cabinet Locks for almost two years now. Note that the CR2 lithium battery required to power the lock does not last up to a year as suggested. My experience is that each will barely last half a year on daily use.

Works great definitely like the added Wi-Fi feature to be able to unlock things when not at home using it as a lock for my dad's medication's.

Agree with all the others, this is not a lock for a gun cabinet or your $100,000 in gold bars you have stashed at your house ... I used it on the liquor cabinet just to keep out people who should not be in there ... set up was NOT intuitive .. if you get the product with the bridge, you have to scan the QR code on the product BOX for the lock module (do NOT scan the QR code on the back of the lock module) .. I had to call the 24/7 tech support for help (which was fast and helpful response)... once I figure it out the set up was a breeze, but the instructions are not that clear ... I bought 2 locks and was given the tip to take the battery out of the 1st lock when I was ready to install and set up for the second lock .. once done and all batteries installed, both locks work perfectly ... once installed I sometimes have to give a gentle lift on the door when shutting and locking to make the most secure and tight connection (otherwise I'm not sure the lock is catching all of the latches on the post) ... not a problem for me, but just to mention that this is not like a metal Stanley lock with pins ... I would love to see this lock improved (esp beyond plastic), but its not bad, dose securely hold the door, and will work for my situation (can a teenager pry open the door, probably, but if you have this kind of a teenager then toss the liquor or get a deadbolt lock instead) ... but here is the most important reason I bought this .. I spent $2500 on the bar furniture many years ago and did not want to toss it just to buy another piece of furniture that had a built in lock .. so if you have this kind of a situation the Yale Cabinet lock offers a solution to save your existing furniture ... also I choose not buy the keyless locks that use a FOB card to unlock because I did not want anyone to get ahold of the FOB card .. this is all secure right through my phone ... I'm sure this is just the start for this kind of a lock, but so far Yale is the 1st to the market
