generally good
Latest bios 1.05 fixes many previous issues.two core complaints still:1. single core workloads cause temperature spikes 85c+. Would love to have an adjustable power profile to lower the factory wattage.2. The IO shield does not fit flush unless you remove the wifi antenna nuts and re-attach on top of the IO shield. To make this far more confusing, the assembly manual AND official Minisforum build videos mention nothing of this. They clearly know this needs to be done, but make no attempt to address it. Better that they own up to the poor implementation, than frustrate their customers. The truth comes out regardless.

16 Cores 32 Threads Reached 5.4GHz in some cores at TDP 55W. Perfect.
I use Noctua Fan NF-A12x25 PWM with this motherboard.16 Cores 32 Threads Reached 5.4GHz in some cores at TDP 55W. Perfect.

Awesome little board! Excellent value for the money!
UEFI is a bit featureless for today’s average gaming PC. The smart fan control in UEFI takes a minute to understand the options and values (the PWM value is 8 bit). I’d say there’s just about enough balance of what you get in ports and slots to build a really nice gaming PC for the non-tweaker, or even a low criticality workstation. It totally lives up to the performance promise based on Passmark scores. I put this in a Corsair 220T case i’ve had for several years. I put a Noctua iPPC 3000rpm fan on the CPU cooler inverted — drawing air up away from the MB. The case has 5 Noctua NF-A12x25 fans; three on the front drawing air in and two on the top blowing it out. Also one slim NF-A12x15 to allow for room for the CPU cooler/fan on the rear, blowing air out. In this arrangement, the case fans at max speed (but still pretty quiet), and the CPU fan control set to max speed at 70*, full load temps are very cool and comfortable on everything — MB, RAM, gfx. CPU hangs around ~73*. CPU idles around high 30s low 40s on latest Windows 11 build desktop. Keep in mind the thermal limit for this proc is in the low 90s, so it’s well within range. That’s without repasting or doing anything to the cooler. At these temps I wouldn’t bother. Saw someone on reddit who did these things and even put liquid cooling on one, and it made virtually no difference. If you have little interest in overclocking (who really does these days) and want a tiny power efficient powerhouse that gives a 1000$+ CPU/MB combo a hard run for it’s money, this is the way to go.
