I have used these lights and similar for a piece of artwork. They are tough enough to withstand being twisted into any shape, They have three modes. Steady, long flash and short flash. The latter mode worked really well on my work. The on off button is good quality, better than a switch as in other battery operated lights. They only thing that loses it a star is the buzzing and bleeping the unit makes when operated. I can live with it!

The wire works, is flexible and does as stated, however burns up batteries extremely quickly and requires a change of batteries frequently. The strength of the light changes within the first couple of hours of usage.

lights work as advertised but they are more orange than red.

I used this for a fancy dress costume. It is very flexible and bright. The three settings (solid, flash, fast flash) were perfect. Batteries lasted all night (a very long night). Suspect they would last a long time but haven't tested it beyond that night.

Saw a video about creating spooky photos by using long exposure and some of this glowing cable. It's really cool. I ordered this straight away and it arrived very quickly. Its a great price and great fun to play with in your photography.

Ok but battery life is poor and light brightness is dim.
