Works, but might have issues with windows updates
I dont know if its something on my end or what, but i can not get ANY updates for windows when i use the adaptor. I plug in my wifi and that works. Plug in the adaptor and i just get error codes from anything microsoft related. Should be able to use it for gaming and such still, which is great since its what i got it for, but if the seller could get back to me with some kind of solution, i'm all ears. I thought my friend deleting bloat ware was the cause, but it turns out it was just this lolEdit(06/21/25): I was able to fix the issues with windows by clearing the dns, but it still has some issues with some of the games i play. Hope the seller gets back to me.

One thing I noticed that put me off so far
I noticed that the USB "3" interface is black and NOT USB 3 Blue. I ordered a 2.5 gb switch that will be here on Thursday so I can test properly, but it does look like usb 2 which leaves throughput at 484mbps. Can't get any more than that out of a USB 2. I will try contacting customer su[port and see what their take is***** EDIT*** I loaded a USB utility and DESPITE the fact that the interface is black and does not say SS, it is indeed a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbit/s). Great news as I dumped a LOT of money in their 4 bay pro NAS

Great for Network Attached Storage
Been working great to transfer files from my PC to my NAS. Plug and play, works for ROG ally as well. You will need a switch that is at least 2.5g.

Perfect solution
The ethernet port on my laptop quit working. Rather than try to replace which sometimes can be difficult and not cheap, I elected to give this a shot. This thing worked perfectly. Connects to a USB port, ethernet connects to this device and Im getting speeds right 2.5gbps. (disclaimer, your internet access needs to be fast enough to support this speed, it wont magically make your connections faster).Very easy to use, plug and play, no software or alterations to your computer required. Highyl recommend.

Just get a PCI card…
UGreen is not at fault here - USB NICs faster than 1Gbps are just not pleasant to use, especially with 10Gbps switches. There’s not full support for most of the ethtool operations, because USB NICs are almost all controlled by CDC driversJust try to use a PCI card if you can…

Works great! 👍
I recently upgraded to 2 gig fiber from Frontier. The network adapter in my desktop was only 1 gig. This thing worked fantastic, and I’m getting full speed from my provider!

Works well with speeds over 2 gigs.
Works well with my 2gig fiber getting 2.3 gigs up and down. So far I haven’t noticed any latency issues with this device.
