4 Month Advanced for Extra Large Dogs (Over 55 lbs)

I’ve been using this on my girl for years, works great.

It’s been a little over 24 hours since I used this for the first time on my dog and i just couldn’t wait to come and write a review to let everyone know how AWESOME this product is!!! So, my dog got out and was hanging around some strays and came home INFESTED with fleas! Before that, he really didn’t have any, but I still put a different brand of EXPENSIVE flea tick and mosquito drops, just to maintain them, you know? But after my dog got out, and the fleas got bad, that other brand wasn’t working!!! He was so miserable! He scaratched SO MUCH, constantly!!!! So I jumped on amazon to see if I could find a good non prescription flea medicine to give him and I found this. I honestly didn’t think it was going to work!! So as soon as it came in, I read the directions, and applied the drops. I can tell a difference within 6 HOURS!! And now, it’s a little over 24 hours, and I haven’t seen him scratch AT ALL!!!! I am so stoked! I’ve been calling all of my friends and family that have pets to tell them about this product! I am BEYOND happy with this product!! And so is my dog!!!!! I will definitely be ordering again!!!!!

The first time we used this, hubby said he read on the instructions that it was fine to let the dog swim or bathe within six hours. It was summer and so....off they went to let the dog swim. This was a mistake. The product did not work at all. The second time it worked perfectly, because I said no swimming for a couple of days at least, so just be aware of this if you regularly take your dog for a swim or give him frequent baths. Other than that, no irritation, easy to use, and a good price. Hard to find in stores, so get it here.

I'm about to cry happy tears. We have battled fleas for years since moving to our new house. Hundreds of dollars wasted in products that dont work. Natural products, not natural products, topicals, chewables etc. It did take a few days to really get all of them. I applied it Thursday, tuesday gave my beagle a bath and there were no fleas. I'm elated. I'll come back and add to this if it ends up disappointing in the long run. I also got it for my cats, it's much harder to tell on them but less scratching seems to be a good sign!

Doesn't seem to work on my dogs. The fleas are still bothering them.

I put this provecta on Bo on April 24th and today he was bit by a horse fly and his eye is super swollen. I bought this product SPECIFICALLY to repel biting insects because when I got Bo he already had heart worms and had to be treated for that which the vet said could damage his heart so I needed to keep him on a regimen of heart worm pills and repelling flea/mosquito medication (which I do, or at least I thought I was) … this is a trash can dumpster product. Go name brand. So upset right now.

We had accidentally ordered this for a friend, and it worked wonders on her 3 dogs. I had been using another flea drop on my dogs and, they continued to scratch and itch even after using the old drops. Almost immediately after putting Provecta 4 Month Advanced on my 4 dogs, they stopped scratching. Weeks later, they still are not scratching. This is now my flea drop of choice!

We have several dogs and can go broke quickly buying Advantix II. This is the same ingredients and works as well much cheaper. There is too much cancer in dogs now. I cannot help but believe there is a link between cancer and all of the new pills that pets are given to control fleas. I don't like feeding my dogs poison. This is topical and I hope is less likely to cause cancer. Even with my flea magnet dogs, this lasts about 3 weeks, which is the same as Advantix II.
