I recommend you check the size to make sure that it’s compatible with the standard hairdryer while traveling. Easy restored feels like it’s made with good materials. Was able to use it without much issues. Will definitely become a fixture in my overnight bags.

I read the sellers instructions telling me to be sure to measure my dryer before ordering, but it also states it fits most hair dryers. Being that we have at least 5 different style, different brand hair dryers in the house I was confident it would fit at least one of them. I was wrong. I still like the item, it is well made in my favorite color and collapses for easy storage. I will eventually get another hair dryer and when I do I will collapse this down, stick it in my purse and take it with me to ensure a perfect fit.

This diffuser is made of two different materials. The round head is a hard plastic. The base of the diffuser (which attaches to a hair dryer) is a flexible silicone. The flexibility of the silicone allows it to attach firmly to hair dryers with varying size nozzles (the product description says 1.15 to 1.96 inch diameters). This works well and this fits firmly over the nozzle of my dryer.In it's original position the diffuser sticks straight out of the dryer. However, because the base is a flexible silicon the head can be rotated 45 degrees so that it sticks out of the dryer at an angle. I found this to be the best position for drying my hair. I think that this is my favorite feature of this diffuser.This is a large diffuser. The diameter of the round head is 6 1/2 inches. When fully extended it is about 5 1/2" deep. Fortunately the base of the diffuser is made of a flexible silicon material which can be compressed to give the diffuser a 3" depth. This makes it a lot easier to store. For comparison, my other diffuser has a head which is 5 1/2" and is 4" deep.I'm new to using diffusers. My formerly very straight hair has turned wavy as I've gotten older and I'm learning new ways to style it to take advantage of this new texture. As a result, I don't feel qualified to comment on how well the diffuser is working, although I can describe what it does: I noticed that while the air is blowing out of my dryer very strongly, the air is coming out of the diffuser a lot weaker. There seems to be less air. I realize that most of this effect is beause the air coming directly out of the dryer is coming through a small hole but when it reaches the end of the diffuser it is more dispersed since it's flowing out of a larger area. It seems to be drying my hair very gently and I'm hoping that this will cut down on the frizz. (It's been hot and humid and rainy here the last few weeks, so frizz is inevitable.)

There is a lot of wavy/curly hair in my family and lately (because it has been summertime) everyone has been wearing their hair naturally wavy. For years everyone wanted straight hair and now, apparently, curly hair is in again, which is great. I have a large plastic hair diffuser that I have had for years now, but when I saw this collapsible, silicone hair diffuser and thought I would try it out, especially because it would be easy to travel with due to its collapsible nature. This diffuser is made of a flexible silicone .It is advertised that the attachment is universal and should fit most blow dryers and it did fit my blow dryer great! I had no trouble attaching it and taking it off my blow dryer. I did use it at first on high heat and there was a bit of a plastic smell, but I turned the heat down to medium and the smell dissipated. It really diffused the air well, did not get caught in my hair and did not get too hot to the touch.One downside is that part way through diffusing my hair it did partly collapse on itself, but it actually helped a bit with the drying in the end. It also folds down to a compact size, which will make it perfect to pack for an upcoming trip.Overall this is a great add on to your blow dryer if you are looking to allow your curls to shine and for a diffuser that can be easily stored or that you can travel with.

This collapsible diffuser works fairly well, but is definitely a bit fiddly to use. Because of it being collapsible, it's prone to collapsing during use, so you have to be mindful of how you are using it, especially when trying to dry your roots. It's travel friendly, and is an acceptable alternative to travelling with a full-size hair dryer + diffuser.

I really appreciated the idea behind this product, and was looking forward to trying a diffuser that was collapsible. I made sure that, as per the product page, the item would fit my hairdryer. However, in reality, it did not. After a lot of struggling, I finally got the diffuser to fit on it, but the second that I actually started trying to dry my hair, the diffuser flew off of the hairdryer.I've tried so many times to get this to work, and it just won't. This has proven to be very disappointing and ineffective in the extreme.

This is a vast improvement over the diffuser that came with my hair dryer. My hair dries so much faster with it, I think the size and the air holes on the tines help a ton. I will say that getting it on and off is kind of a pain. My hair dryer nozzle is about 1.8 inches in diameter, and I wasn't sure it was going to fit at all the first time I put it on. It has sort of loosened with time, but its still not easy. I'd definitely recommend sticking to the lower end of the width recommendation. That said, I never feel like it is going to fall off. It stays on very well.I don't feel the need to replace it because it does work so well for my hair, but as a person who routinely switches between the regular and the diffuser, it is a bit annoying.

Before I got to use it, my 3 year old was gently playing with it and took it apart. It appears to be simple to put together and it seems like I have been successful in putting it back together. Unfortunately it doesn’t stay together and falls apart when I use it. The diffuser attachment folds up pretty compact and is lightweight. The piece that attaches to the hair dryer is made of a silicone material and is slightly stretchy. But you are still limited with which hairdryers it will properly attach to.
