Easy for first-time users and pros alike
These rollers inspired us to make homemade pasta for the first time. We weren’t disappointed and now we love homemade pasta! They have impressive heft and are exceptionally high-quality and worked so easily. They attached and integrated to our KitchenAid perfectly. We experimented with different thicknesses of each type of noodle and the rollers and cutters worked flawlessly. They were easy enough and intuitive enough for our 14-year-old to use. The instructions were clear, in well-written English, and easy to follow. We had no issues of the pasta sticking inside the rollers — dusting them with flour beforehand was a great idea. The adjustable thickness dial worked as expected and we were able to roll the pasta thinner and thinner before cutting it. We were able to get so many noodles out of one batch of pasta that we froze the raw noodles and can’t wait to use them. We followed the instructions to let the little bits of leftover pasta dry in the rollers and then used the included brush to sweep them out. The box has precision cutouts for storing them. Making the pasta got easier and easier each time we used them. We are now homemade pasta fans!

Decent budget option
The instructions were written pretty decently. The parts seem to be pretty sturdy. Depending how thick you like spaghetti, you may or may not like this set. I don't mind slightly larger noodles that this makes compared to what is sold as spaghetti noodles in the store. It works how it's supposed to. You get three options for noodle type like the listing says, which may or may not be the best choices for what you like to make. For me, these three were great options. I do like making ravioli, but it's easy enough to use two of the lasagna sheets and use a zig-zag cutting tool which I already own to cut the pieces. Including a tool like this, as they are cheap, would have been a nice bonus to be included in the pack for people that don't already have one. They are nice steel instead of plastic that is bound to break over time.I think it's a good value for what you get, much cheaper than many of the other brands that are steel. There are plastic ones for cheaper, but why bother saving ten or fifteen dollars for something that is far more prone to break unless you aren't going to make pasta very often? Ultimately what your own needs are will change if this is the right brand to go with for a pasta attachment. Personally, I'd rather just use a hand cranked pasta maker if I were only going to do it once in a while because the steel ones of those are pretty reasonably priced, much cheaper than the plastic attachment options, and they last a very long time. Since I really like fresh pasta and will use it a lot, this was a great option for me.

Nothing like fresh pasta...
In the past, I've made fresh fettucini pasta by just rolling it out and hand-slicing the strips. It looks ugly but tastes great. Now, I can make pasta that looks good, is uniform in size and thickness and still taste great. For this pasta attachment, the only control is for the thickness of the pasta. The one thing that's not so great with this attachment is the thickness adjustment for the roller is not very smooth and doesn't have any outward indication of the thickness setting. I had to look into the roller to discern how thick I had it set. There's really no other adjustments for the cutters. The size you get is set. The plus side is that it's simple to operate so it'll serve my purposes well.

Great value compared to KA's own pasta attachment
For my wife's 20-year old Artisan mixer, I've been replacing the original KA attachments with aftermarket parts after normal wear and tear (dough hook, wire whip, flat/edge beaters). Since KA parts are expensive and have mediocre ratings, it's worth trying aftermarket attachments due to the better value. With the exception of the edge beater, I've found the aftermarket offerings to be of equal or higher quality than KA parts. As for the Wiselet pasta maker, I can only compare to KA via their website listing. The Wiselet offers the same 3 attachments (flattening/lasagna, spaghetti, and fettuccini) constructed of stainless steel. Similar to KA pasta attachments, the user manual states DO NOT WASH IN DISHWASHER.Making noodles is like baking, which is making some mistakes along the way. With all of the moving parts that can get gummed up with sticky dough, it is best to start with a drier dough along with a lot of flour dusting. Cleaning sticky dough that has dried inside the attachment is not fun.The price of this kit is 1/3 of the KA list price, so a great value!

Fit my Kitchen Aid and work great!
These work just as good as the original ones I bought from Kitchen Aid at a higher price point!

Works great, made perfect spaghetti and fettucine
The media could not be loaded. We never made homemade pasta before so I watched several instructional videos on how to make it with a KitchenAid stand mixer before trying it. The pasta making attachments worked perfectly. They easily fit on the KitchenAid and work as advertised. After putting the dough through the flat roller attachment to the desired thickness, we made half into spaghetti and the other half into fettucine noodles. The spaghetti comes out about like a vermicelli and cooked in about 3-4 minutes. It was delicious! Nothing at all like store-bought pasta. I would recommend this for anyone with a KitchenAid mixer that wants to try their hand at making home-made pasta without spending $220 for the KitchenAid brand pasta attachment (current price on their website).

Works with stand mixer
While we don’t use it often. It works well and is easy to attach to a stand mixer. It’s a bit hard to clean, but I expected that. It’s a decent value considering you’re getting more than one.

Awesome addition for those who have a Kitchen Aid mixer and LOVE pasta!!
I bought my wife a kitchen aid stand mix for Christmas and have been buying the attachments as time has gone on. We both love pasta and decided that this would be a great addition, and we were right. Now instead of getting store bought pasta, we can make our own and have our favorite dishes like lasagna and spaghetti, an angel hair pasta. It attaches easily and cleans up simply.
