best personal item bag WORKS FOR FRONTIER
HIGHLY HIGHLY RECCOMEND! BEST BAG FOR SPIRIT, FRONTIER, AND ALLEGIANT PERSONAL ITEM!!i have bought a few different bags that claim to be "personal item bags" for value airlines. they all have worked and fit the requirements but this is by far the best one i have used. first off, it is made very well. the fabric is durable and slightly thicker than others i have used. also, it comes with a shoulder strap! something every other personal item bag i have bought did not. and finally, my absolute favorite thing about this bag is that it is slightly taller than the other personal item bags and it STILL fits the flight requirements! i used this on 6 different frontier flights and each one they made you stick your bag into the metal container to show that it fits and this one fits with ease.

Cheap Zipper, Unusual Fabric
Pros- Size is as advertised. I do have a couple other "foldable" bags but this one is slightly large and if truly filled it would be the maximum size for Spirit (And many other carriers)- Fabric repels liquid very nicely, but it's not impermeable. Nice if you catch a bit of rain while moving luggage in/out of airport- Great size, can fit enough clothes for a full week- Shoulder strap is a huge bonus. Just hope it lasts- Good value. Price is on par with other of similar qualityCons- Zipper is really cheap. Mine already came misaligned and I had to fix it. Have serious concern with durability- Material is weird. Doesn't seem like it will stand time very well, it is somewhat thing and I feel any rip this thing will come apart- Doesn't fold like other similar brands (zipper for the front pouch is one sided)

Not a quality product
Knowing the budget airlines have some the smallest personal item dimensions, I thought this might be an adequate bag for simple weekend trips no matter the airline. And I DO think the dimensions fit those requirements. The bag has a pouch strap that fits over the retractable handles of larger suitcases. But those are the only good things I can say about this bag though. The material is very thin and there is no lining. The shoulder strap has absolutely no padding. The only compartment is the small zippered one on the pouch strap. I wouldn't pack too much weight in it for fear of something tearing. I can't recommend this for travel, but it would be a fine bag to take to the gym.

A really useful duffel bag!
I recently picked up several duffel bags to help me organize a rapidly growing number of cables and accessories for a start-up tech company I'm opening. This bag is one of the two larger duffel bags and is working great for my needs. It's well-built and provides me with plenty of space to store stuff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend picking one up at this point and will adjust my review in the future if that changes.

About as basic as you can get
If you like simple & basic this is your bag. There is only one separate pocket. It is small and part of the piece that you can slide a larger wheeled bag's handle through. There are no inner pockets or zippered compartments either. Just stuff your clothes and personal items in and away you go. The fabric is a thin polyester type, kind of like a reusable grocery bag. I am guessing it won't take much abuse, but it is also "budget priced" . It looks like it will pass most airlines size restrictions for a personal item, but if you are carrying anything you want to keep organized, or the bag could be subject to some rough use, this may not be the bag for you. If you are just stuffing in clothes and a toothbrush for an overnight stay it could be fine for a few trips.

Minimal, efficient
this is a great simple bag. It’s quite minimal and inconspicuous for every day travelers. It’s really nice knowing that this is the exact maximum size that you can carry on the airplane, simple and efficient.

Cheap in quality
It's made of thin black nylon fabric. It is foldable onto a fairly thin and compact size. It also does fill up to the dimensions that budget airlines like Spirit and RyanAir allow for carryons. You could use it on a few trips, but it would probably start to rip or fall apart if you filled it up. It basically feels like a reusable tote / grocery bag with a zipper. Overall, it's a bit too expensive at $12.99, so I can't recommend it at that price.

"Personal Item" size is not universal
The bag itself is a decent quality, no frills bag. There's 1 main compartment and one exterior pocket on the luggage handle loop.It has two handle straps and a removeable shoulder strap.... and that's it.The shoulder strap includes what would normally be a shoulder pad, but there is no padding. The handles would normally have Velcro or a snap to keep them together, nope. They will just flap about. No nothing, no frills. But it is the max you can take as a "personal item" ... on some airlines. Then since it is specifically a "personal item" bag...Maybe it's my fault for not double checking. The title does say "Spirit Airlines" in the title.I went and assumed that was fairly standard, at least within the US, if nothing else Spirit would be smaller than most.I was wrong, it's the opposite in fact.American, Frontier, Spirit: 18×14×8 in (45×35×20 cm)JetBlue: 17×13×8 in (43×33×20 cm)United: 17×10×9 in (43×25×22 cm)Southwest: 18.5×13.5×8.5 in (47×34×21 cm)... (many more, you can check yours) ...Some airlines aren't specified. All non-US airlines have smaller personal item limits. That's all just to say ... know who you usually fly on and if this bag will work for you. But, as a bag, it's a decent lightweight bag for the price.
