This is a fantastic bin. We wanted one with two sections for recycling and this does the job perfectly, we can put a different bag in each side. We hadn’t really looked especially for a bin with an automatic feature but this comes with it as a bonus. You can either use it manually & just open & close the lid as normal or press the button to open & shut it. In addition you can just wave your hand over it & it opens, closing again automatically after you have put stuff in the bin, this is especially useful if you are putting something mucky in the bin but don’t want to mess up the bin lid or buttons. We are really pleased with this bin & highly recommend it.
