Fine to begin with but after awhile is no longer silent
This clock was fine to begin with, they are supposed to be silent. However after a few months of use, they eventually become loud. I purchased 3 to put around the house and two of them so far are loud now. They make a continuous clicking mechanical sound that eventually drives you crazy.
