When I purchased the Alogolaser DIY KIT MINI 5W Laser Engraver, I was worried I might struggle with the setup and operation. To my surprise, the machine was incredibly easy to use. Within just over 10 minutes, I had it fully assembled and learned how to operate it using the accompanying computer software.I've been using this machine for a week now, and it has been running flawlessly. The quality is exceptional, and it feels very durable. I was particularly impressed by the high-quality materials used in its construction, which seem very sturdy and resistant to damage.The compact size of the engraver is perfect for my small workspace, making it ideal for crafting small handmade items. Additionally, the store offers a wide range of accessories, which I’ll definitely consider purchasing in the future. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend this engraver to anyone, especially those new to laser engraving.

I was excited to get it. Got it set up, the instructions could be a bot more detailed bit figured it out. I was able to use it one time to practice before it go my roller to do round objects. I went to turn it back on and connect it and neither my phone or computer could find the device. I tried uninstalling the app and still nothing. The program on the computer still could not find it. I think it would have been a great product from what I saw in just the quick practice piece I did but I don't have hours to keep trying to find the device when I want to use it. I sent everything back for a refund.

I was on the fence about buying one of these mini laser engravers, but all of the amazing etched crafts finally convinced me.People are doing some really creative stuff with them! It seems super easy to use, even for a beginner like me. Plus, it's small enough that I can keep it on my drafting table without taking up too much space. The assembly was a bit challenging at first, and i had to watch a video instructional to get it together. Even then, I had to go back and fix several things various times. That part was NOT beginner friendly.Once completely assembled, it's time to download your software and use the computer to set up your engraver.... yeah... that was very interesting, to say the least. As I said, I'm a beginner, so the interface and adjustments needed to make it work. Whew! Then, ensuring that it engraves in the correct spot. It makes me tired thinking of that time.Now, I've a bit more experience and can align my projects correctly for etching. I wouldn't say that this is a beginner item... more like intermediate.

The media could not be loaded. I am new to laser engraving and because of that, I won't comment on the engraver itself. It seems to be well enough for what I will be using it for.You can't take the description of the 5W laser literally. After receiving the 5w unit, I realized the description must be generalized. On the 5W, there is no TF card, no key switch, and no E stop. The working area listed is incorrect. It is 310mm x 300mm, not 400x400. That informational is buried in the description. I can only assume the 12000mm/m speed and precision are inaccurate for the 5w also. Still seeking the correct information, looking through various sources.It was a pain getting to connect to the app. There have been moments the laser wouldn't power on for no apparent reason. No troubleshooting fixed this issue, it just randomly doesn't power on then suddenly it will start powering on again.I don't trust the safety goggles included as there is no etching on the goggles to indicate parameters. My understanding it's never a good thing when the etching isn't somewhere on the goggles.I recommend watching their YouTube tutorial for assembly. It really helped make that process simpler.The manual is lacking in a) specific information for the laser type you purchased and b) troubleshooting guide.Unless somethings catastrophic happens, I don't intend to return the $150 product but I also wouldn't tell a newbie like me to purchase this brand.

Can't get it to connect to software to engrave keeps popping up an error tried YouTube and Google to help and we have tried everything it says even the videos on the flash drive it came with and nothing is working. Will be sending back to get my money and finding something else
