dish towels need washed a few times before the first use. much lint given off at first.

I ordered the black and white design. They are absorbent, seem durable and good quality. The only disadvantage I find is that, for my taste, the solid black color towels aren't quite appealing to wipe my dishes with. Just saying....Maybe you won't mind this aspect the way I do.

I like these, they don't leave lint and seem to be absorbent. I can't speak to durability since I just got them. And yes they would make an excellent gift! I like them.

Soooo happy I switched brands and bought the value basics towel. They are universally useful and after I clean my car wheels and throw them in the wash, they come out just as soft as when I bought them. You can’t go wrong with these towels, especially when you get 16 for the same price of other brands that only give you 12, and the quality is so good!

Great quality towel! I don’t have a dishwasher & these towels are fabulous! Great absorbency & still has a great color.

These towels are 100% cotton terry. They are great for cleaning and drying dishes, cleaning the counters and cleaning up spills. This set comes with 8 black towels and 8 white and black checked towels. They are very absorbent! I plan to use them for other things around the house too like dusting and scrubbing the bathroom. Love the price!

Great towel set! I've been searching for a larger "bulk pack" with the same color scheme and these were perfect. Everything in my home is black/white color so I was super excited when I found these... Quality is good for the price. Will purchase again when needed.

Towels are nice, unfortunately three of them came with loose threads. Really need to work on quality control...
