The way this adapters are presented in the picture, it look like one part can be connecting to the other to increase the high to two more inches in the 14 inches high floor jack. However, that's not the case. If you're looking to increase the high of a low price floor jack these parts are not going to do that. Nevertheless, if you're looking for just a rubber pad to place on the top to have a better supported then go for. However, you probably can get one of this pad for less than ten dollars in Walmart. I wasted too much money in these part, but well, I am learning in a hard way. Take you time and don't hurry and do you homework before you decided to spend money for the product and shipping. I have learned that some things can be purchased outside of Amazon for a better price.

These are the pads you need if your trolley jack seat is 2.5". The groove is a bit shallow if you own an older American made uni-body car. You'll have to deepen the groove.

This rubber pad fit my small floor jack perfectly.The bottom part that fits into the cradle of the floor jack is 1 1/2 inches diameter. This part fits into the cradle of my floor jack. Its tight but it fits in it.The outside diameter of the upper part is 2 1/2 inches.You need a pad to jack up these unibody cars.

1 fits perfectly in my 2 ton travel jack. The other I cut the base flat and use with my garage 6 ton jack. They work great!
