ZeckosLaurel Burch `Celestial Felines` Medium Tote Purse

I just LOVE the design and durability of this handbag and all the extras that are included in these bags. Yes -- I have several of this designer - Laurel Burch. I get so many compliments on this bag, and I have to show off all the great features such as the cool cat-shaped zippers, this one has a dangling cat mirror. Others have quirky but beautiful surprises. If you love unique bags - check out this designer for her other bags.

This Laurel Burch bag has gorgeous colors and a beautiful design. It's a smallish size, so I can't make it too heavy with stuff. The cat ears are higher than the sturdy zipper which creates a nice little cradle and the space is perfect for a bottle of water. I love all of LB's art, especially her cats and look forward to purchasing a wallet with her art next.

I love the unique design on this bag. Aside from one interior pocket, there are not organization features. But, use three small zippered cloth bags to organize items and to make it easy to change purses. The purse is all fabric, so I'm using it for summer. I live in an area that gets a lot of rain in the fall and snow in the winter, and this bag is in no way waterproof. I am pretty sure waterproofing spray for fabric would remedy this issue but I don't want to take a chance at changing the gorgeous and vibrant colors.

My sole interest in purses is whether my wife has enough room for my stuff when we go out. I hate sitting on my wallet and there are usually a few other odds and ends like "fit-over" sunglasses I'd rather have her keep track of. ("Fit-overs" are sunglasses that you put on over your regular eyeglasses, and they're too big to fit in my shirt pocket.) We both like cats and I don't mind bright colors as long as nobody goes overboard. This purse is cheerful but doesn't look like a kiddy-cartoon even with the cats, so that's fine-- she's a grown woman. The canvas seems pretty sturdy but not really what I'd call canvas, and she's not hard on her belongings -- unlike yours truly, she says. I don't know why this got called a "tote" but then she doesn't either. She does like the size though, and I agree. It holds what we need and it doesn't look like she's carrying luggage. She says she's short-average; kind of short, but not "petite", and not heavy either is what I'd say, so a "medium" bag works for her. She says the lining isn't stain resistant but since she uses one of those organizer things to avoid repacking when she switches purses, I would assume that doesn't matter. Just thought I'd mention that. We didn't see any manufacturing defects in this one. Gave it four stars, as instructed. Don't remember her mentioning any technical reasons, unless it has something to do with there not being a special lining. Guess I should also mention why I had to write this. She's mad at amazon.com because the way it's set up, my name automatically goes on the review and trying to change it just screws the whole thing up. Well, I don't like getting email addressed to me at my wife's email account that asks me how I like "my" new purse, or makeup or other girly-stuff. Wish somebody would tell me how to fix that! This is the last time I do this for her, BTW. It was only funny the first few times.

Oh man, the sheer amount of compliments I get on this bag is enough for the review. I can’t go inside anywhere without one person saying how pretty it is or where I got it. I wish this artist who made this design could make even more. This bag has been through everything and not a single stitch is out of place, nor a color faded. If you’re an art professional, this would be a staple in any outfit.

I really love this bag. It’s not too big not too small. It is just perfect for carrying. Just what you need without clutter.The only thing I would change to this purse is, I would like an outside compartment for a cell phone. That is the only thing something that is easy to slip the phone in and slip the phone out a medium size phone too small.

Nice enough bag, could be larger, not worth the price.
