ADVANCE MFG Custom Flow CFINSERT2 Tailgate Insert, Black

Inspite of the UPS driver tripping and dropping this package on the ground as he exited his truck, it did not appear to be damaged when I opened the package (and the driver said nothing about dropping the package). Initially thought this insert did not fit but found you had to squeeze the open ends together to get the pins through the holes to connect the cotter pins. This insert works as designed and I would recommend it.

Was delivered beat up and ding'd up from transit I guess

Once again I gambled on "used, open box" and it is in new condition and fits perfectly. When not towing my 5th wheel this completes my toneau cover enclosure.

The product I received was likely not new, as one of the cotter pins was installed in the tailpiece and not in the package with the rest. It was also missing a hairpin clip. The foam that stops it from scratching the tailgate is hold on by double sided tape but has been wanting to curl back into a roll. I have been using a piece of wood to weigh the foam down and preventing it from unsticking and rolling up. As far as installing and removing the insert it is easy enough and simple, but having the loose cotter pins is not a clever design especially considering the price. I wish they would have had developed an integral latch or something similar to hold it in place. The finish is not all that great with what appears to be little pieces of slag all over on the sheet metal that were painted over. I'm not too picky about a finish but again considering the price this is way below the quality that is expected.

This product was used and dented when it arrived. The fit on out F250 was really bad. You definitely get what you pay for. Do not buy this product.

I ordered this product assuming the image photos was the actual product?!?! However this product is not pictured at all. Poor product discription!!!
