As people say, yes it does work without the cloud but motion detection is pathetic at any time. You can get much better motion protection if you play for the cloud subscription and then ON TOP OF THAT pay for better motion detection. Nice camera but hardly a security car near and no way of using another app. A big rip off.

Q: Does anyone know how long the free 64gb sd card takes to arrive please?

Mine still never arrives, they said they can’t find order,( i order not one but 4 cameras). When i changed review from 5 star to 1 then they find my order immediately. I think they care more for the review then to gave a way cheap sd card.

Q: Hi. Does the camera come with a UK plug ?

No, it has a transformer/rectifier with a UK plug built into it with a lead that plugs into the camera. Be warned that although this camera gives good video for live view to keep storage its only free for a few days then you have to pay for it or else just get still pictures which rather defeats the object of a security camera.
