I have one under my serger, embroidery machine and one under my regular sewing machine and they definitely help with vibration. I also have them under the foot pedal. I can tell a difference in the vibration of all 3 machines.

Very SIMPLE and very EFFECTIVE product. Had a $3000 10hp air compressor mounted directly to the floor with bolts. When it kicked on the whole area around you knew it. Eventually the vibration and solid mounting caused the top of the air tank to fracture at the motor mounting plate weld joints.I dissembled the machinery and had the fractures plated and welded and reinstalled the unit onto these pads with NO further securing of any kind. The unit is AT LEAST 75% quieter when it starts up and 60% quieter when running (as measured by a dB meter)I can’t recall getting more bang (or less bang as the case may be) for the buck then these insulator pads.Darrow...for the Prosecution

In rearranging my office I wanted a table to edit audio & transcribe my 50 year old record collection. OK, I admit it, I'm a boomer. But why throw away records? The issue was just putting a table top on two safes holding my boomer-age negative safes didn't work, as they were not even across and allowed the table to vibrate. I did some digging, and found these pads. Two safes, about as deep as the table top, and 8 pads (two sets later) and I was done. The cushioning is perfect to keep the table level, firm (no rocking) and absorbing vibration. That's what I use them for and they are perfect. The material is a sturdy feel, a little "squishy" but also firm enough to support the table.

I was looking for a solid rubber block not an extremely light (mass) foam. Description did not match search. I should have read the details more closely.

Purchased these pads to use to secure objects in a vise so item in vise is not damaged or marred. Works well.

These work great to give to my customers when they buy Dining Tables from me! They seem to work great and have multiple purposes.

While this product will work for what I need it to do, the four pads I received are distinctly different in size and composition. Two of them are actually quite soft and spongy, while another is made of something akin to a hockey puck. All of them have variance in size in both thickness and squareness. If you need them for something other than what they are described to be, they will probably work. I only needed one pad, which I'll cut up to use to isolate a vehicle part. I can get all I need out of one pad, so I can select the right material composition to suit my needs. This might not work for you, so buyer beware.
