The wires are copper and 10 or 12 gauge. The learn feature will get you remote start basics if you have no experience. Easiest to get function of remote start of any alarm system. Others are really professional only.

I have been an Omega/Excalibur customer/installer for over a decade. Omega alarms are the right choice for the DIYers who are not afraid of simple and clear instructions when installing automotive electronics.Their customer service and warranty are hands down what the doctor ordered and you dont even have to let a Geek Squader install it!!The titled model packs a smart remote start feature, 2 way notification, and most important to me security.I am from the old days of Alpine alarms that required major wiring and dip switches on the brain...This install required no dip switches to be changed on my brain! LOLNow the questions I know will be asked, how will it take for the install? It depends on the installer's experience.Is this better than other types such as Viper, Python,etc? My answer is YES. from my experience. :)Check out the companies website...you wont be disappointed.

The system works extremely well. The system is reliable and same with the 2-way fob. It definitely works up to 3000 feet, as I’m surprised when I use it sometimes as to how far it works. This is the best you can get especially for the price point. I would just recommend a louder horn and more sensitive detector for motion while locked. But definitely we’ll worth it. I updated my rating to a lower one because the key FOB is the cheapest I have owned. Breaking in less than a year without any physical damages.

I bought this and it said very easy to install. Well, when i opened the box there must be 20-30 wires that have to connect by stripping the wire and wiring it to another wire. not cool!!! i bought a different one and everything did just and plug together and i was done in 30min!!! Now it is past the 30 days so they won't even take it back!!!!!!!!

tested this remote starter on my workbench and works as it should. All the pinouts are labeled and color coded which helps with installation time.

GOOD PRODUCT

It does not do even the most basic things. No flash lights, the shock sensor doesn't work, siren is not loud enough, can't open trunk.... By now, you get the idea
