My first one did not work either, however they sent me a second one at no charge works fine.
My first one did not work either, however, they sent me a second one at no charge, and have had no problems since. My second one works great. I would suggest contacting them and a build a relationship in terms of helping them fix the issue long term, these really are great people. These folks are just trying to help make IoT more secure.

The first one i got didn't work and the mosfet got so hot it branded the outline of the mosfet into my thumb ! The second one a replacement had it for a day and the usb port came off because it was soldered in only one small spot ! The first version of the software had more options it cant be loaded because it uses PyQt4 and wont work with pyQt5 ! Total waste of money steer clear !
