Total model for sholder joint
It delineates well all muscles of the shoulder joint as well as muscles that attach to the head of the humerus. As a, pus bursa are well placed and outlined. Compared to other models this is the best because it has great muscle and joint anatomy. Laminated key and better marked enumeration would be awesome. However not a deal breaker; can't wait to use it on tests.

Good muscular shoulder model
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Dad since he’s had multiple orthopedic shoulder surgeries. He loves to talk about the muscles that were affected, so I decided to get this model. Unfortunately this model doesn’t have any ligaments, and is immobile, but overall it’s a great model for the muscles of the shoulder.

Helped settle my case for $150,000
Very informative and detailed. Exactly what I need for my law practice! I had a torn meniscus personal injury trial and this helped me settle the case for $150,000.

Accurate and well made teaching model. Much more educational than 2-D. Does not articulate.
The media could not be loaded. My husband is a massage therapist, which means this particular bit of the body is his bread and butter, or at least one of them. We ordered it so that he would have a way to show to clients exactly which muscle he's working on and why, as well as the complexity of the entire structure. It could work for that purpose, but it's really a teaching model for learning the entire structure. It rocks at that. It's much, much more useful than trying to puzzle through a 2-D drawing on a page, even if you are coloring it in. Please see video. He was pleased with the accuracy and thoroughness, and the way it included non-muscular parts of the scapula, such as bursa and tendons. He also very much liked the way it showed how tightly muscles stack upon one another, and how it is sometimes necessary to move or work through a particular muscle to get to a problem area. But it also doesn't separate. The scapula itself is 95% hidden and it's difficult to see what underlies (or overlies) things. Some of the muscles had to be cut off in order to show others, too. As the lay person in the house, albeit the lay person with more knowledge of the shoulder joint than the average lay person, I sometimes found it difficult to understand which muscle he was referring to.It is an excellent 3-D model - again, a major improvement upon 2-D drawn diagrams. Just know that the primary purpose is for teaching the entire shoulder structure simultaneously, rather than focusing on an individual muscle or detailing specifics to a client.

Accurate and well made
My wife was having some shoulder pain, so I got this to help her understand better where the doctor said the issues were so she could ease off of them. It is detailed and accurate, and very well made. Great for any science classroom.

Excellent shoulder model!!!
Some days you want a visual to show a person what muscles are involved with their discomfort. And better than a picture is a model. This model is very detailed with all the muscles & connective tissue around the shoulder. Rotator cuff muscles are well shown & even the serratus anterior is present (tho cut away). Definitely a great model for any physician or PT who work with people's shoulders. Heavy duty & will outlive your practice!!
