Awesome product
Watching 3D movies is excellent! The screen feels like sitting in the middle of the theater, super suitable for a person to catch up on the drama. The picture quality is super good and not that grainy.Watching videos or playing games with this is very immersive. This product is especially friendly to nearsighted people like me and can adjust the left and right eye nearsightedness and pupil distance. Although there is a 3.5mm audio interface, I still prefer to link Bluetooth. There is no pressure to wear it, and it is lighter than I expected.

First time I use Customer Sevice, and they was very helpful how to return the product.
Unfortunately the GOOVIS video headset would work only on my PC computer and my DVD player. It would not work on my Blue-Ray player and my cable box. I return it for a refund. Customer Service was very helpfulhow to return the product.

Awesome, but ...
The first one I received had a few stuck pixels. I tried to contact their support via the provided URL, but their web form didn’t work from my iPhone. I tried again from a desktop browser and received confirmation that my support email had been received. It’s been about a week now and I still haven’t heard from them. I have received a second one from Amazon, however, and so far so good. The fact that I was unable to contact their support is the only reason this product didn’t get five stars. Everything else is exceptional. It’s important to understand, however, exactly what this product is. I own an Oculus Rift and an Oculus Go and the Goovis G2 is not a VR headset. It has about a 60° field of view, which is about half that required by a VR headset. Also, there is no head tracking, so the image in front of you won’t move when you move your head. It’s best to think of this product as an exceptional 1080p external monitor that attaches to your face. I have connected it to my iPhone, Mac, and Windows laptop with great success. The image quality and color is exceptional and I was able to dial in almost my exact prescription. And while there is no screen door effect or god rays like you get with a VR headset, there is a small amount of chromatic aberration along high-contrast edges and a small amount of smear as the edge of the image gets close to the edge of the openings for your eyes. It’s 60 Hz refresh rate makes gaming with the headset very smooth, but again, keep in mind that these are not VR games, they are normal flat screen games like you would play on your computer. So, all in all, I am very happy with my new travel-sized face-mounted 1080p monitor and would recommended it to anyone looking for the same. I’ll update this review if I run into any problems, but I’m hopeful that this product will last for a few years, at least. Hope that helps!

Awful
Cant get it to work. Way too difficult and complicated. Have brought in others who are better tech people than me but no one can get it to work. I emailed them a week ago and no response. Will probably return it . It’s hopeless..

Not very useful as a monitor for your PC.
I had high hopes. I ordered this so that I could have a monitor that was large on any PC. This unit was easy enough to plug in the HDMI port with the included HDMI / USB cable. It immediately popped up as a monitor on my computer. The screen looked decent also. Now the downsides:This headset cannot be used with glasses. If you use glasses, expect to take them off and put them back on. If you are very short-sighted like I am, this becomes a hassle very quickly. There is no virtual keyboard, and this headset also prevents you from peeking to see your keyboard. You had better know where every key on your keyboard is, and also how your keyboard is positioned relative to your body. You can't see anything at all when you're wearing this unit except for the virtual monitor. I thought perhaps I could lift the lens to peek at the keyboard, but this involved adjusting the the unit up and down on my head. I thought I would be able to just flip it up and then flip it back down, but because of a poor fit this is not the case. The unit is uncomfortable to wear. I found that the head strap and forehead pad were insufficient to hold the unit. It required substantial nose support when it was down, and when it was in the flip top position it wanted to dig into my eyebrows and eyes. Finally, the final complaint was that I could not adjust it to fit my eyes for 3D viewing. No matter which extreme I went to, I could never get both eyes working together properly to create a single 3D image. 3D was simply unusable. Here's an FYI, it wasn't clear to me after researching on Amazon and on their website whether I needed an additional HDMI adapter cable to plug the system into my computer. I didn't need the extra cable. It was included with the system.

Expensive. But, a cut above the rest.
I purchased this product after experiencing VR using the PlayStation VR system at the home of a close friend. I found the PlayStation system was a lot of fun. However, I didn’t like the “screen door” effect (the faint grid-like pattern that can be seen on VR systems. After much research and deliberation I decided to try the GOOVIS G2 because the thing that separated it from the others was the use of OLED screens. I am happy to report that there is NO screen door effect that I can see whatsoever. The picture is very clear as you would expect from a 4K screen. The 3D mode works beautifully. I have only used this headset a few times so I can not speak to the battery life yet. My only real concerns with this device are with the headset design itself. More specifically, I am concerned that the head strap may become uncomfortable with extended use. Also, as someone who requires glasses...this headset will not accommodate the use of glasses! It does provide a way for those with bad vision to adjust the screen clarity in much the same way the optometrist would determine what strength of lens you need by adjusting diopter on the unit itself. I have found this to be adequate (I need to invest in the diopter for astigmatisms that is available).
