This thing is a blast!
You know how sometimes, some random product comes along and no matter how mature and wise and world weary you've become, you can't help but grin and shake your head in amazement at the wonder of technology and the ways that a creative human race finds to utilize that technology? Well this bulb did that for me a few days ago as I sat at my desk messing with the Magic Home Wifi app that controls these lights. Specifically, the music synchronization function brought a wave of delight as I realized I can now play music on my soundbar and the lights will twinkle and brighten and slide between different colors in perfect time to the beat. I mean, if that doesn't make you happy, WHAT WILL?! I've often debated going the more expensive Phillips Hue smart light route just for the music visualization functionality but now that I found these, I'm GUCCI. The lights themselves are pretty standard as far as color options and brightness at this price point but the music syncing is a whole new thing for me and I love it. I got the Magic Home app connected to my Google account and now I can just tell my Google Home to turn on some music and turn on my bedroom lamp to music mode and get lost in a good song and colorful lights for a few minutes. It's an amazing stress releaser for me, and it definitely sent my cool score soaring, everyone from my son to my parents are amazed by it and that is probably the biggest reason why anything less than five stars for this light would be a SIN! I am going to order a few more for my son's room and maybe even the garage for techno rave night at the home-club hah hah hah!!! Love it.

Must have desk light
So most smart lights you see out there are what are called RGBW lights where they can display any fancy colors really dim or white very brightly. With this bulb, you still have the option to choose any fun color you want, then pure white, but also warm white. As a student I really liked the option of having a warm white color because when your sitting at your desk for a long time doing homework your eyes will start to hurt if your using a really bright white color. As mentioned above, when you change the color from white or warm white it does get much dimmer. It becomes more of a mood light than anything else, still a cool feature.Overall it was easy to setup and get going and it works well with my google home mini.

Does not work well with Google Home or Alexa.
Very disappointed in this product. Most of the reviews were positive until recently. Apparently a software update has been released and is the cause of the trouble. Only responds about 30% of the time with MagicHomePro app on phone, and hardly at all with Alexa and Google Home. ( Tried both one at my house with Google Home, and Alexa at friends).I should have known better when the title of the app is 'Magic .. . " Reminds me of a $19.99 "As Seen on TV" commerical for cheesey product.

Terrific bulb!!
I was dubious about ordering this bulb, but it is amazing! I use it with Alexa on my bedroom lamp and it is terrific. It works as it should, and can be dimmed or brightened and you can change the color to basically whatever you want. It is way easy to set up... just don’t lose your password! If it happens to stop working, it is easy to get it restarted. This doesn’t happen very often, but I have had it quit on me a few times, and is always easy to get it back to working. I liked this bulb so much I ordered another one for my living room lamp. When you have more than one bulb, you just give them a different name so that Alexa can recognize which one you want on or off.

Easy to connect and ve
This bulbs are actually pretty good. The colors are not as bright as I wish they were, but it works. The warm white is the brightest and will light as much as a regular bulb. Connecting them to Alexa was a breeze and took less than 5 minutes to have them operational. It is fun to see how they change on the music option as they change color with the beat. Overall a great purchase!

Start with Smart Lights, you will eventually want to invest in switches.
Easy to setup. Easy to use. If you are trying g to turn your home into a smart home, invest in the light switches. The WIFI lights have a tendency to come off line occasionally. The switches are less reliable than the switches, but the upside is the cost is significantly lower. I started with WIFI lights and then decided to change all of my switches. Be careful, making your home “Smart” can be addicting. I have automated just about everything in my house over the last year.Pros- price, ease of setup, control of colorsCons- occasionally come off line and you have to replace light bulbs

Great RGB light for a good price
I used this light to give an ambient light for my gaming setup. The RGB was very easy to setup after downloading the app. I was able to match it to my existing RGB quickly and easily. I would recommend this for anyone who wants an ambient light that is not the standard white, though this does have white too that's enough to light a room if you don't want to have it colored all the time. If you're looking to buy an RGB light I wouldn't bother looking for any past this light.

Fun, easy to control
Just a heads up, this only works with 2.4 GHz wireless frequencies. The setup is really easy, you just plug in the bulb and install the app on your phone. Once you have the app on your phone, it will tell you how to connect the lightbulb to WiFi. You can change the color of the bulb through the app which makes for a fun part piece. Or you can use it as a night light since you can easily turn it on and off without getting up.Update:I had to take off a star because I could not get this to work with the Google home app, only with their app. This kind of defeats the purpose as you have to switch between apps for different bulbs. I haven't tried it with Alexa so I'm not sure if that works.
