The charger charges the phone battery. However, on the charger we previously purchased to match the LG phone, it brings up a window on the phone that gives the status of the charging operation. This charger does nor provide that feature.. Tracking the progress of the charging of the phone has to be monitored by looking at the top of the phone where the available charge is shown. just a slight inconvenience. We cannot rank the durability of the charger because it has not been used over a period of time.

I believe is a great product. It fits perfect from the new version of lg and it is durable. I have had no issues what so ever. Comparing this to a 24.99 store bought this product saves you money and the time.

This charger is not built like the cheaper ones. The only thing that I wish it had was a longer cord, other than that, I have absolutely no complaints about it.
