I like this a lot but only used it once so far. So far, so good.

This peel can be used with any Clarisonic brush head, but the box does recommend the exfoliator head. I just have a regular Clarisonic brush head so that is what I used. The top of the tube is very difficult to pop open, even after multiple attempts. The gel is clear and smells very nice; not too fragranced and a high quality scent. I love the scent and hopefully the absence of “fragrance” on the ingredient list meas the scent is naturally derived. Since this is a pricier product, I do wish the box advised how much product to use (a pea? A dime?). This isn’t necessarily a cleanser, it’s a treatment to use after cleansing your skin. It suds nicely. My face did feel slightly smoother after, and was definitely a bit more tight and shiny. This may be due to the drying effect of the ingredient sodium lauryl sulfate which is a foaming agent that strips the skin of natural oils. Why they’d include SLS in such a high end facial product is beyond me! My face did feel nicer though and I know gentle products like this do take time to notice an improvement, and I definitely will continue using it as long as it’s followed by a very moisturizing facial cream. I’d give this product five stars if they removed the sodium lauryl sulfate!

Updated review: I tried this peel treatment again in the shower while my skin was warmed, applied a little more of the Clarisonic treatment than I did before, massaged it in, and then used the Erno Laszlo orange peel scrub; I massaged that in gently for a while, then rinsed away. My skin did have a shiny look to it, super clean, and maybe deeply cleaned. Once out of the shower, I applied some serum to calm my face. Then, a few days later, I tried my brush attachment with my Vichy gel-mask just to compare how my skin looked, and it didn’t have that really shiny look that I had with the Clarisonic—that shiny skin may just mean it’s taking off dead skin cells and leaving my skin refreshed.So, I’m willing to give this Clarisonic treatment another look—but I absolutely won’t buy their exfoliating unit as the last Clarisonic unit did not last (and they aren’t cheap).—-I wanted to like this Clarisonic skin renewing peel treatment but I don’t see where it is really any different from just a regular facial wash. Though, it may have gone a little deeper in its cleaning, I wasn’t quite convinced. I don’t want to give it 2 stars since I will use it as a face wash, but I find I don’t want to bother with this product and keep returning to what I already have, and that tells me a lot-that it’s not for me.I will say that I did not use a Clarisonic unit to scrub my face, but I do have another facial scrubber from another brand that I like better—I did have a Clarisonic but it quit working after only a year, so, yeah, I won’t buy another one—the unit I have now has been going strong for well over a year and didn’t cost quite as much as the Clarisonic.I dampened my face, applied the peel treatment, scrubbed with my scrubbing unit, and though my face was really clean and shiny, I don’t know what it is supposed to do to warrant paying $35 a tube! I have used it several times now and still don’t get what it is supposed to do that is special or different from any other facial wash.This morning I used it along with my Erno Laszlo facial scrub and I then felt like I was getting somewhere. But on its own, this ‘peel’ treatment doesn’t do enough to make me want to spend $35.The first time I used it, my face was really irritated—I have sensitive skin. But after trying it again and using a little more of it with a little less pressure from the brush (and using a sensitive skin brush), my face reacted better.There is not the warming feeling from this peel treatment that I received from other products I’ve used. That warming feeling helps me to know the product is doing something other than just cleansing my skin.The top is difficult to open, as well, so that sometimes I accidentally squeeze out product into the air. Not a big deal but it’s a little frustrating to open.Maybe for those who have the Clarisonic units with the special Clarisonic brush head that is to be used with this peel treatment, you will have a different experience. But for me, I’d not order this again.I’d just as well use my cheaper facial wash, or a scrub-wash, with my cleansing brush, to achieve the same effects, and pocket my $35.In the meantime, I’ll continue to mix this Clarisonic treatment with my left-over Erno Laszlo scrub peel treatment to achieve that ‘peel’ effect.

Absolutely zero impact. Used it for two weeks and...nothing. At. All. The scent is off-putting--it almost smells as if it is old and past its shelf life. Don't waste your time or money.

I love my Clarisonic. This adds a new dimension to the entire experience of using it.This is a clear gel that comes in a large tube. I spread this on my Clarisonic brush head and used it for one minute over my face as the instructions indicate. While it took a couple of minutes to get it completely rinsed off, it left my skin feeling the most smooth it has ever felt. There is no grit or any granules in this. Instead it contains three skin smoothing ingredients: LHA, glycolic acids and salicyclic acid to do the job of promoting skin cell turnover and renewal.While I experienced instant results like I had a professional peel session at a spa the first time I used this, I expect the improvements to continue and build as I begin to use this every day.I give this my very rare rating of ten stars. If you love your Clarisonic you will love it even more with this. It's amazing.
