This is the perfect laser sight for a Bug-A-Salt gun. Their proprietary laser sight looks very cheesy. This is an aluminum and steel product with a pressure switch that is far superior at only $11. If it's sold out, you may see something similar for over double the price. Have patience and wait for this to be restocked and snag it fast. I have lots of chickens and the flies love their manure, so I have been slaying flies by the hundreds. I never tried to mount it to the Bug-A-Salt because the Cooque version became available again before it arrived. But I was able to use the first sight I ordered on another device and it is excellent. The only con I have for this sight and perhaps it's the same for all sights with these quality laser beams, is that they go through batteries fairly quickly. Well I did use them a lot. This is the best laser site unit and most reasonably priced for my Bug-A Salt. Much, much better than the Bug-A-Salt brand laser site. The hardware on this unit is metal and work very good. the Cooque also comes with two different switches to choose from, a toggle on/off switch and a momentary switch that can be double stick taped where ever that works best for you.. After you mount the laser to the gun (make sure one adjustment screw faces downward), I mounted to the area behind the barrel. not on the barrel. Adjustment is accurate and smooth unlike the plastic $15 Bug-A-Salt brand laser which employs adjustment screws that is too small and fragile to use more than a few times. Of the two I purchased along with the gun, the allen adjustment screw and wrench striped at the head easily.Also the Deyard brand laser site available here on Amazon is probably the same laser and mount but does not include the curly cabled momentary switch and it cost $1 more. the Cooque unit also seems to be packaged more carefully with more thought.

Good quality little pointer, the pressure switch cap however must come from a third party supplier. The threads did not mesh smoothly. I was ready to send it back and finally got the cap on. The unit came with no adjustment instructions. Would I buy again? Yes

A great accessory for my Bug Assault. If any thing it looks very cool. Not good for flying insects. But deadly on landed flys.

Ok. Maybe it’s overkill to put a laser sight on a bug-killing salt gun. Who cares?! It’s fun and accurate!

The little pointer is nice but the threads on the cap with wired button do not match up , cannot use. But the cap with the push button on the lid works fine. Missed the window for replacement by 5 days. My son still enjoys it.

I bought this to go with the assalt gun for my husband. He loves it and it’s accurate.
