Excellent bulbs
I use smart bulbs with Alexa all through my home as I am an amputee and wheelchair dependent at moment. Have done for a long time. These bulbs were so good I immediately ordered two more my bedroom light/hallway light. Sadly when I went to order more they were "Currently Unavailable". Am checking twice a day to buy more as soon as they are on sale again.I used two of these bulbs in my lounge when one bulb needed replacing so both would be an exact match (some bulbs version of daylight white is same)They were easy enough to physically fit into the light socket (balancing on my one my one leg was a bit scary!)Setting them up I used TuyaSmart Android app and ~2 minutes later they were fully functioning. Alexa automatically detected them, I changed the names to more human and all is good.As an aside flat where I live is a shared courtyard so I tend to keep my curtains on my patio door closed, keeps random nosey people from looking in. I was in bed and thought left curtains open. Got up and discovered the lounge lights were on "daylight white". First time that happened in 4 years of living here.

Fantastic
Look the size of a normal lightbulb but these things have an led, driver and circuitry and WiFi receiver built in. I wasn’t expecting them to be so bright but they are really bright and crisp. The white function is just as clear as the standard bulb I had in the fitting before. Putting into setup mode was easy. Just turn it on, off, on, off, on at the switch and it will start to strobe indicating it is in setup mode to connect to WiFi. Add the smartlife skill to Amazon Alexa to voice control these bulbs. Working in conjunction with the tv backlight strips, you can really set some nice scenes. You can also create your own chases so the bulbs cycle through preset colours. Great for having a disco in the living room. The only thing to remember is you need to turn them off remotely and not with the wall switch as they need constant power to retain there WiFi settings. I am going to replace the wall switch with a blazing plate so the mrs doesn’t turn the bulb off.

Revised... Now working well... Wouldn't pair, couldn't use...
Update 21/11/19Boxlood sent replacement bulbs to me and I retried the set up process. I re-downloaded the Smart Life app which is a simple process.I ensured that I put each bulb into the light fitment closest to my router and stood next to the router with my phone whilst setting up.I couldn't pair by the 'normal' method as the app reported that the bulbs couldn't be seen. I therefore tried the other method given which was a bit more long-winded but the 1st bulb set up straight away using that method. The 2nd bulb was a bit more of a faff and took 3 goes before I could set up, however both now work and look fantastic. It was a piece of cake to set the Smart Life app up in the Alexa app and I can now control each bulb and set them up in groups if I want. The bulbs themselves have a full range of colours and several shades of white from very warm to very cold, plus there a number of schemes which cycle through colours in different ways.I would recommend following the instructions exactly and am so glad that they are now set up and working.........................................................I had to download a special app before I could try to pair these bulbs with my Echo Plus. Then, I couldn't get these bulbs to pair with the app so couldn't use at all! I spent almost an hour trying and re-trying the process before I gave up and returned them for a refund. Better off with Philips Hue I thinks - they paired direct with my Echo and took about 10 seconds to set up. Lesson learned!

Easy to install and efficient
I chose these bulbs as they have an excellent efficiency rating when compared to many others available on Amazon. I installed both within two minutes and connected them to Alexa without a single issue. I have Virgin wifi, which picks up the 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks simultaneously. The bulbs work as expected - the only issue is my kids' constant demands to Alexa to change the colour of the bulb! Alexa can change colour and brightness so it's easy to set up for watching TV etc.I can't yet comment on longevity but my initial impressions are very positive - a well priced product with great efficiency rating that is easy to set up and operate.

These also refused to connect over WiFi for me
I'd love to give this product a proper review; In my experience, some of these kind of bulbs struggle to stay bright when you change from white to RGB, so I can't properly review them without being able to test the RGB elements. It is, however, telling enough that I couldn't even reach that stage with them. Much like plenty of other reviews here, I couldn't get these bulbs to pair over my WiFi, and if the only thing that's supposed to fix that is to change my WiFi band from 5GHz to 2.4GHz, that just plain isn't worth it.I have B22 RGB bulbs from other brands connected to this network just fine, so there's really no excuse for it. Expecting people to go into their router configuration and change their WAN preferences to a potentially lower quality option for their setup, just to accommodate their specific brand of lightbulbs, is ultimately an unecessary requirement limited by cheap materials, and probably why these sell for this price. It's also something not everyone knows how to do easily; however simple a process it might be for the more tech-savvy of us, these preferences are still buried in router configuration deep enough to confuse anyone outside that range of knowledge.I know this kind of lightbulb has a contested market on here and this reported problem occurrs with quite a few brands, but I want to assure you that this problem definitely does not happen with all of them. I'm not talking about Hue bulbs, either. Keep shopping.
