This is close to being a perfect set but falls short in a couple of areas from being the-only-set-you'll-ever-need.PROS: quality tools (e.g. no burrs/etc.), comfortable to use, not oversized (spatulate 4-set is kinda big, but make for good cutting tools), good varietyCONS: no real needle-head tool, no ball-head tool(s), small additive spatulate tools (the colored set) are a tad on the thick endIf the set were slightly adjusted to include the two common tools missing in CONS, it would be a 5-star for me. I think bigger-diameter wood-handles would be lighter and more comfortable to handle (in place of the solid metal colored set), but that is not worth taking stars off for.(Using this for small polymer clay sculpting).

I am not a professional sculptor just a hobbyist. I would highly recommend this set of clay tools. Much higher quality than the ones you get at the craft store. A little pricier than some of the sets sold online but well worth it. A very nice complete set with a good range of tools. Was even sent with a personal note from the seller asking if you had any questions on how to use any of the tools. Very professional sale I am very impressed. This is a great pottery tool set that comes in a very compact storage roll. I've been using the tools in hand building sculptured bonsai pots and they are great. I had the more typical wooden handle tools and found it frustrating when tips would pull out of the wooden handles. Also, our terrier chews the wooden handles into splinters when he finds a tool that has fallen from the work bench. There's a nice variety of tools in the case and they match what I needed perfectly. The seller also sends along a PDF document about the tools that is quite good. They arrived quickly and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them.

Love these tools!! I am new to clay. With these new tools it made it so easy. I have attached a picture of my first piece. It's a bit rough and I will clean it up a bit after it dry. It was fun to make.

Unfortunately, I never inherited the Artist Gene so I'm relegated to pass on how great this set is from someone who did.He thought it was a great set and loved it as he does a lot of clay modelling stuff.Me...I would probably find a use for the tools somehow to scrape stuff out from under my fingernails or scratch and pick at other stuff...

They are exactly what the product description shows. The shipment was prompt and quick. The package is compact and recylceable.The product itself is nice and after some use, as a clay modeler both professional and hobby, I can say the tool are nice but can be better. The stainless steel is ok, the polish makes it look kinda cheap and some of the thinner tapered shapes tend to bend a bit too much if used on harder clay for my preference. I like the smaller loop tools but again, wish it was made from steel instead of aluminum since it bends too easily. The variety is a plus but would like to see a bit more angled shapes. Thank you

Got these tools for a neighbor who is into pottery and she loved them. Lots of variety and a carrying case too. Quality is good and price was perfect.

There is a tool for every detail work and tight corner, and much more as I'm exploring all the possible functions of each tool. Very well made, easy to use, and easy to clean too. Great quality tools that feel comfortable to work with. The build quality is top notch. The price is reasonable. I highly recommend Skilled Crafter products for ceramic tools. I intend to get their larger ceramic tool sets eventually, but this is a excellent start.
