Gadgy Solar Mason Jar Lights - Set of 3 Outdoor Table Lights - 20 LED Fairy Solar Lantern for Garden, Patio or Balcony [Energy Class A++]

First impression of this solar lamp is wonderful!! They look fabulous in the day with the sun shining on them and after dark bring coloured patterns and I find they add interest to a garden or front of house.The first day I left both in the sun and by dark both were shining brightly and for many hours. I like the idea of having two at the front of the house and two in the garden as the brightness is not only beautiful it is also a deterrent to Intruders when not home.Last night the one in the garden was bright but the one at the front of the house wasn't.The seller has sent out a useful explanation on the functionality of the solar lamps which arrived today and made me aware that the solar panels do need the sun ON them and not only daylight. That way the light at night will remain bright and should last longer.Last night the lamp at the front of the house went off , I kept going out and switching the light switch on but the light kept going off or staying on a shirt time. It was flickering and wasn't giving off the extended light and patterns as it did the first time I out it out.As you can see the one at the front of my house doesn't have the sun directly on the solar panels on top of the glass bowl.Today I have taken the top solar panels off and placed them in the sun. I will see how it does tonight and will probably have to move the bird feeder to replace it with the lamp as it is getting all the direct sun. Though I'd rather not have the bird feeder beside my door and I've already securely attached the glass lantern bowl with wires to secure it so no one can try to steal it. :)Very happy with these and will buy more for the summer evenings. Though disappointed that in winter months these may not be bright or on for long after dark I'm sure I can find winter ones and use these more in spring and summer.

Look good and very bright

These are really lovely. I’ve been very pleasantly surprised as some solar lights I’ve purchased have been a real let down. But no complaints at all so far as this pair been working really well this summer. I have one placed on my patio table and one is hanging on a crook in my garden, giving a subtle warm light on my plants. I’m about to order another pair, though they’ve gone up in price since I last purchased a few weeks ago

Charged the jars for an hour when they arrived, and as the weather was poor I put the jars on my kitchen window ledge, where they shone brightly and looked lovely. Now the weather is better, I have hung the jars in my apple trees in the garden, and the lights look gorgeous in the dark - like fairy lights! Bright and filling the jar beautifully. I think these jars are good value for money, but my only concern is that the lids are quite flimsy - I can imagine them disintegrating in time.The jars hang well off the branches, the handles are sturdy.I recommend these lights. When the weather turns again, I will return the lights to my window ledge in the kitchen. I aimagine these would be nice in the bathroom too - turn the overhead lights off and enjoy the glow!

These solar lights are brilliant stay lit for hours even in winter , had loads compliments

Jars are lovely and when they arrived all 3 sets of lights were bright and came on in the dark. They looked stunning. Sadly despite recharging the following day all 3 sets of lights seem to have faulty connections so they either don't come on, come on then go off after 30 seconds or in one case come on in the light briefly and go off in the dark. I contacted the seller to find a solution and have had no reply. Sadly, a waste of money.

The lamps are of good quality insofar as the materials. However, only one of the lamps worked on arrival. I have to question whether the goods are tested before dispatch.

They look good during the day but are really bright in the evening.
