Solidly built stainless steel tostonera that will replace every wooden tostonera you will ever buy. No more sticking. No more worn out wood or broken hinges. No more ruined/warped tostoneras from washing in the dishwasher.The construction of this tostonera takes the guess work out of how hard to mash the plantain - just mash it as far as you can and your tonstones will have the same thickness time after time.We normally make about 100 tostones at a time to freeze, so I’m really looking forward to putting this tostonera to work on more than just one or two plantains at a time.I cannot imagine how one could be disappointed with this tostonera.The shipping was quicker than the estimated arrival date. And it was packaged well, arriving undamaged.

easy to use
Prior to purchasing this item I was smashing the tostones between pieces of brown paper bags. Now my life is so much easier! This item was pricey, but I love it. It is very well made, very sturdy.
