It works but its not perfect.
Okay so yes these are a pretty good deal and I was sure happy to have the money instead of paying almost twice the price to the local auto zone. But they aren't exactly perfect and are rather difficult to install without professional equipment. The description makes it sound as if this assembly makes it a snap. They spring itself did not come compressed enough to slide in to the wheel well. Also, the rubber cover that protects the piston is NOT pulled down or secured in any way so when receiving it I had to spend an extra 20 minutes on each side pulling it in to place and wrenching it down with a zip tie. Here's hoping that holds up!

Stay away!
If you own a 2002 honda accord, STAY FAR AWAY! These Strut assemblies are JUNK! A waste of time to install, the fitment is wrong and dangerous! Unity claims the springs will settle after 500 miles, Which never happened for me. I have these in my car now, and the ride is horrible! Very bouncy. These struts change the whole front end geometry of the vehicle!

Not a good fit on 2002 Accord
Did not fit on 2002 Honda accord very well . I agree with some other buyers say , these Strut assemblies are waste of time to install. The fitment is wrong and the ride is horrible with clicking noise .

Great alternative to expensive Monroe Struts
I had no problem installing these on the 2001 Accord EX. They were way cheaper than Monroe and really easy to install. I have had these installed for over 6 months and the drive is excellent. They are not too stiff and they provide a good ride.

the price is right
I got these for my 2001 Honda Accord Ex and although its only been two days since i installed them, I have to say so far they are very good. The installation was very simple and fast, it took me longer to take out the old struts than to put these new ones in.They fit exactly like the old ones, although maybe a bit taller. I know the spring will compress a bit with time, but for now my car looks like it had a lift.Overall I am pleased with these struts, the price was great , install nice and easy. Only reason I am giving four stars is the short time they have been on my car and limited driving.
