Yes it has the power to take car paint off very quickly.

Q: How does it work on wood?

The PTX can be used on wood. In fact we have a kit (40004-3A) especially made for wood that includes wire brushes for treating wood surfaces and includes the PTX stranded wire wheel (56301), the bristle wheel (46101) and the fiber wheel (46400) . We also offer a suction cover accessory for source capture of the wood dust.
