Use Case: RC Cars - That said this work wonderful, and the compact size is perfect, fits my to go toolbox just fine. Small detail, many look over is the hard case that is provided, with pre cut inserts for all attatchments. Easy to use, and provided is detailed and legible instructions. Easy to apply shrink wrap tubing, and even better to heat up screws, that have been applied with Loctite (My main Purchase reason). All said, with options here on Amazon, I encourage you to try this out, especially if into RC Cars and builds.

Great product! I bought like 5 in total cuz I either keep loosing them or the heat air blowing adapter piece looses its internal heating coil and it no longer holds up after a while like consistently used for a few months and it’ll usually give out and I’ll have to buy a new one for the specific purpose of using it for the heat shrinking function

Bought this as a gift for my father and he loves this product. It is super lightweight.

One day of use, so far loving everything but the safety. As a person with small hands, I found the safety awkward and uncomfortable to disengage, even after a lot of practice. If your thumb isn't long enough then you can't hold the "handle" part of the base and still disengage the safety. That leaves you awkwardly gripping the upper area where the levers are.That said, the company designed the safety in a very smart way that makes it easy to remove and put back on.CYA Warning: I recommend you don't do this as it could be dangerous, etc, etc, and impedes the safety features built into the device, etc, etc. I am not responsible. Check your local laws. Don't leave around kids. Use at your own risk.Removing the safety takes about 10 seconds. Using a very narrow screwdriver, simply push the steel pin out of the safety mechanism and then remove the yellow plastic insert from the trigger. The spring is built into the yellow piece so you don't have to fiddle with it to get it on/off or worry about losing it. You can reinsert the pin or not. Put the parts in a labeled zip-lock bag and store it where you keep your spare parts. Done. To put the safety back on, reinsert the yellow piece, lining up the notch on the yellow part with the indentation you can see on the bottom of the trigger, then push the pin back into the hole.Now I can grip the base and pull the trigger with ease. With the safety removed, I'm able to hold the torch in a comfortable, natural position.
