10 Stars
WOW !!! like fresh from the ground. Now that the turmeric supplements are questionable This is a better option. There was a lot for the price, so I froze some and gave some away . Will purchase again.

Quality!!
I "juice" bi-weekly and only use fresh ingredients. This product freezes well for longer shelf life.

Bad Product - Bad Business
Does not even deserve a star. Bad customer service, poor quality product, not securely sealed, did not follow delivery instructions left at garage door on the ground out in pouring rain saturated so badly it was not safe for consumption due to mold. Not recommended at all - this is the absolute worst company with subpar business practices especially since dealing with a food product.

Good Enough
Not bad. Had to throw about 10% of the lot due to some spots and rot, but that's to be expected. Good enough for the price and quality.

It takes them a while to get here. Order early. I've had good luck with those seller
I have always gotten good tumeric from this company. The last ones that I got had some huge beautiful roots but there was also some bad ones. I could smell mold. I suggest washing and drying with paper towels before freezing and using. I have ordered a bu ch of times and had very good turnout. It does take a while to get them. So check it quick so that you can clean any bad that might be on them

Checkout out before using & wear gloves
I had to order a rather large amount in order to get fresh turmeric, and although it arrived very quickly, once I opened the box I could smell that something was musty. I was told how to preserve it and before I did, I picked through it very carefully and found about 10 roots that were pretty well beyond using and that's likely where the damp and musty odor came from. I'm glad I opened it quickly before it spread. I washed and dried them all very carefully and then ground them all in my food pros processor to put in a bag, and freeze them until I need them. Turmeric stains everything it touches so you should wear rubber gloves when handling it and wash every utensil as quickly as possible. I sprayed my white sink and food processor with bleach or I don't think I would ever have been able to get rid of the color as plain soap and water didn't help. Fresh turmeric root ground gives us a much better flavor than the powdered kind but it takes a little more effort to use it. I think I have enough now for a very long time – I put all the ground roots in a plastic bag, flattened it out and put it in the freezer. I can just break off small amounts as I need them. I do something similar with Ginger and I've been very satisfied using it this way.
