Audiophiles may turn their nose up
but this is ideal for me in my small home office while I decide on a full size amp for my dedicated space. When my Marantz amp lost one channel I was a bit stuck. I wasn't ready to replace it, but wanted to listen to music streaming from my PC and listen to my record collection with my ELAC 5.2 speakers. So, saw the reviews and bought this and have to say, it fits the bill perfectly. Decent sound for listening to Tidal and such a small footprint for my small office. I bought the Fosi Audio Phono preamp too and can listen to my records too. Added bonus is I can Bluetooth from my phone if I really wanted to. Only annoyance is, the Blutooth is always on and overrides my streaming from my PC through my DAC so I have to disconnect my phone Blutooth to stop it connecting.

Brilliant Budget Audio
Having had a few different hifi setups in my time, I am pleasantly surprised by this latest purchase.I'll list some pros and cons and then give a bit more information about this Fosi Audio amplifier.Pros:- Size: I have a Denon amplifier and Mission bookshelf speakers. The Denon amplifier is amazing, but it's large and I haven't had enough space to put the amp and speakers together on a surface. It's probably the main reason I bought this product. It means I can still use my lovely mission speakers, and the speakers and Fosi amp all fit on a surface I have free.- Sound: If you are getting this, having never had a proper amp+speakers hifi setup, it's probably going to blow you away. The sound quality is very impressive for such a small unit. Having the treble and bass controls are a nice touch. Pair this little amp with some decent speakers and you'll be happy. For the price and considering the size, it's wonderful.- Bluetooth: Nowadays, for the sake of convenience, I use Bluetooth for my music often. Music does sound very good simply streamed from my phone through Bluetooth to the Fosi unit. There is an RCA out for any peripherals (such as a turntable or cd player etc). I haven't had any issues using the Bluetooth.-Build: The unit is made of metal. I've read some reviews mentioning the switches felt cheap or loose....maybe I'm lucky, but mine is fine. Great build quality and sturdy controls and ports.Cons:I can't really think of any. My Denon amp is a fair bit better than this unit in terms of sound and power output, but buying a new amp similar to my Denon unit would cost in excess of £300. And there isn't exactly a huge difference between them. This amplifier got my wonderful Mission speakers back into action and since I've had the amplifier, it's made listening to music really exciting again. I'd say it's good enough for bedrooms or small living rooms. If the room you have it in is particularly big, you may need something a little more powerful. Having a remote control would have been a nice addition.Ultimately, im really impressed with this. It's a quality audio product for not much money. Pair it with some quality speakers and you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic amp
Absolutely wicked amplifier especially for the size. Have got it running a bunch of 100w speakers in a large workshop. The Bluetooth is really impressive and seems to work out to around 30m which was unexpected.

Overall, pretty good....
Certainly a neat petite little thing, nice sleek finish too, but there are a couple of things I will mention.Firstly, if you're not planning to use banana plugs on your speaker cables, then tightening in the bare wires to get a good connection maybe a bit tricky if, like me, you have big fingers, because the 4 connections are spaced very close together. It is doable, but I found it a bit tricky to get them properly tight, and if my cables were any thicker than the 16 gauge 1.3mm Amazon basics speaker cable that I used, then you won't be able to get all the wires through the holes, so banana plug connections are the best option for this amp in my opinion. The power switch does seem a bit feeble, and I keep forgetting to turn it off cos the power light is so tiny and dull. Also, the 3.5mm full frequency out doesn't seem to send that much true bass to my 80w powered sub, and I have to turn the sub up to the max (which I would never normally need to do if using the RCA line outs from my old amp) to get any amount of bass coming through it.Another thing is that on the amp that Fosi sent me, the fixed notch points on the bass and treble knobs are both off-centre and the don't rest at the same points either (Refer to the attached photos). The volume button is irrelevant as it doesn't have a central notch point, it just happened to be in that position when I took the photos, but both the treble and bass knobs are shown sitting in their notch positions, I wasn't however too bothered as it's not a major issue, and I bought the amp when the price was reduced down to £93.49.I can't speak for the Bluetooth feature, as I haven't bothered using it yet.Although I've mentioned these negative points, all in all it's a lovely little amp, and over all I'm pleased with it.
