Very cheap
It is not worth the money it costs. It is made of a very cheap material. It came already broken. Parts were all over the box and stuck randomly inside the lamp. I immediately returned it. I was very disappointed.

It's a good deal for a bright
It's a good deal for a bright, easy-to-setup-and-use spotlight. The manual states that it will give off a burning smell the first time you use it. They aren't kidding. I should have burned it off before the event. The first night we used this for our conference, it produced an acrid light smoke that caused the audience in the back of the hall to complain.

In The Spotlight
Showed up with loose pieces from the beam adjuster floating around in the box. Didn't have time to ship back as we needed it for an event. After we figured it out and got it back together it worked pretty well. It's larger than it looks and I thought it would be brighter than it was. Then again, I didn't have anything to compare it to. We are an occasional nonprofessional user, so I would look to see what others have to say that actually know what to expect.

For the price. Remember the price
This will be good for some and terrible for others. In general here is what you get. A very cheap spotlight with a real light bulb. It has a dimmer not a switch. You can focus it. I say a real light bulb because... we do a dance variety shows. We have the led spotlight. I love the electric bill. But. It makes people look really weird and ugly. Sont care anout the colors they all make people ugly. Led front light are bad for faces. Just trues. Has to do with an led makes one color not all color with a focus on one of them. But incondecent bulbs make people look better. Its why we use them in restaurants. Holegen is good for products. Led look fake but good for a vost effect dj light system. Good for back lights. A band.So a real spot is really expensive. So for me i like it because its metal. Its basic. Its ok bright. But not super. Seems like it will take the road ok.What i dont like and would have paid more for is the stand and seperate clamp that goes with the stand. It allows you to attach it to a speakers stand. Then you have to go buy bolts. I wish they made a pack of bolts stand and adapter. I only knew because the first review os the angry guy or id have written an angry reciew also. One assumes it comes with everything you need to ise it as a spot light. Its like buying a car with no wheels. The stand!!!! Come on. Its not like people have “stand” preferences. Then the other part is. It gets hot. Somone said it does. And i blew them off and got it. But dang. Its like hot in a half of a song. We only run it when people go in the audience. Which is like two minites a few times a weekend. Ao im good. But im scared too. But. If you need something to do a basic job on a bidget and willing to do a bit of sweat equity hunting down bolts adapters and stands. Its worth it.

Nothing to laugh at...
I host a comedy show and this spot is perfect for our room. We had been using a chincy $60 thing for a year so this is a great step up. The fact that it has an adjustable diameter for the spot has helped immensely. Using it at about 30 feet.

Fantastic! Great for productions
Fantastic Spot! We used it for our school production of Oklahoma! We had it up in the booth in the gym (about a basketball courts width or more away) It’s easy to navigate, fade, and expand/decrease size of spot. So happy with this purchase

Too much fan noise
This spotlight was plenty bright for our application, but had 2 major issues.1) the fan noise was so loud/annoying we received complaints from folks sitting in the audience during rehearsal2) the spotlight came with a stand, but did not come with a bracket to mount the spotlight on to the stand. We ended up custom fabricating a bracket - only to end up returning the spotlight due to the noise. We ended up purchasing a more expensive Chauvet spotlight that included all needed parts and had a much quieter fan.
