I use a wide variety of Curt hitch products and am always pleased with the quality and durability of the. They are the only couplers I weld on for my customers.

Good piece of equipment which is what you’d expect from Curt. Only giving it four stars as I have never had a label that was so difficult to remove. We’re talking crazy difficult here when there is no need for it to be so. I’d literally find one manufactured by someone else if I needed another one.

I bought this so I all my trailers would have 2” couplers. Tried locally and couldn’t find a 2”x2”. You will need mounting hardware as none is provided. At first I thought like many reviews that it said 2” but it was very tight on the ball and would need to be returned. A quick search on YouTube and I loosened the spring tension just a little and dialed it in quickly. A return was not in order but a little knowledge was the key. So happy I do not have to switch from 2” to 1 7/8 anymore.Only cons for me was no hardware and the stupid sticker on the product. A little heat from a heat gun and it came off rather quickly.

It's made to fit a 2" channel or square tubing. It fit my 2" tubing with no issues. There are two top holes, it advises not for mounting. I am not sure why, but I planned and used the side holes. These holes are sized for 1/2" diameter bolts. Holes were correctly sized, lined up as they should.I picked zinc finish over painted. Item was burr free and well made.It does not come with mounting hardware or a pin to lock the coupler lever, but I knew that before I bought, so that was not a worry. If I were to need another, I would buy again.

I own multiple boat trailers and one of them had an annoying 1 7/8" inch hitch coupler. Everything is 2" inch now. Easy install and more capacity.
