Gardzen 20-Pack 10 Gallon Grow Bags, Aeration Fabric Pots with Handles, Pot for Plants

I have been container gardening for a few years now. I have found that grow bags are far superior to "solid" pots. Especially when elevated like I do. I live in a more rural location and my boxes help keep the critters from snacking on my veggies. Tried these for the first time this year -- normally I use the 5 gal. I expanded my boxes and am giving these a shot. Pic shows one of my beds with the 10 gal in the corners and the 5 gal in the middle. Also experimenting with 2 plants in the tens (peppers).

These are great! Only have had them this growing season so I can’t say much about the longevity but I would recommend for sure

The 10-gallon grow bag seems to be the most useful size grow bag for growing veggies on my balcony.This is my first season using grow bags to take advantage of my balcony space, I was going to experiment with vegetables using 5-gallon grow bags at first. I'm trying out 10-gallon bags instead because they give me sufficient area to try out a few plants of a certain vegetable variety together instead of only one or two. (I'm using my 5-gallons for flowers.)My only complaint is that I wish the 10-gallon bags were shorter. That way, vegetables that didn't require deep roots didn't require so much soil to fill up the bags. Many of my bags are cuffed on top as if I'm ready to hem pant legs shorter. This doesn't seem to be a problem as long as I don't need access to the handles often.

These grow bags are thick and strong and do not tear. I have only used them for one growing season, so time will tell if they will hold up for more than one growing season. They are breathable so that water will pass through them, but the roots will not. The bags did very well all season and are still structurally strong. The plants had no issues with fungus or root rotting issues. The bags are made of a coarse enough fabric that earthworms can climb the sides of the bags and get to the dirt. Mid-season, when I replanted, there were hundreds of earthworms living in the soil, and they were all big and healthy worms. The plants were very happy and produced much more produce than I expected. I had two hurricanes come through, and the pots did not flood and drown my plants.

I bought the 20 pack and went back for 12 more. I LOVE these 10 gallon grow bags. I planted tomatoes, peppers, onions, cabbage, cucumbers, pumpkins, squash, flowers, ginger, herbs and more. They are deep for deep rooted plants. I put 2 tomato plants in each, even though others didn't recommend this. I'm 5'7" and my tomato plants are taller than me. I added a trellis for my vining plants. I HAVE NO WEEDS!!! One thing you need to remember though is that you need to water these often. I bought black and made a little garden area with mulch and pavers and it looks really pretty. I'm going to empty the soil this fall and add compost and refill them next spring as I feel the material will last longer by doing this. I highly recommend these.
