Well made. I haven’t had a chance to use yet but should keep me dry. Well made, good weight and comfortable.

Good for riding in occasional rainy weather.
reasonable for the price!I commute on a motorcycle or take the bus. This was to help me ride on more days. Have worn this in a downpour on three different 40 minute rides.Jacket is waterproof, a little snug on the neck. Fits fine over my armored motorcycle jacket, but the collar on the motorcycle jacket plus the Velcro wrap around collar on this jacket is not great.Pants are fine, they have stirrups to keep them from riding up. Problem here is the ankle zippers snag on the material very easily. It's enough of a problem that I started putting the boot covers on the outside of the pants. The boot covers aren't completely waterproof. They seem mostly waterproof, but the shift peg must do something because my boot is always wet where the shifter sits.Overall, I'd buy this again, but it could be improved.

Check the details of return policy before buying
I purchased this along with the ILM and HWK suits. IMO, the ILM is superior in quality, particularly with the waterproof zippers, stitching quality and interior mesh material that makes putting them on and off much easier. The coloring of the Nelson-Rigg suit (black and green) is sharp and increases visibility to motorists which is probably the biggest plus. I purchased all three with the intention of trying them on and making a decision based on fit, finish and features. I've decided to keep the ILM suit and was going to return the other two, but when I started the return of the Nelson-Rigg suit based on it not meeting my expectations, it showed that $9.49 would be deducted for return shipping AND it must be returned in it's original SEALED packaging with all hanging labels attached, so that it can be placed on a shelf "as new" ready for sale. So once the bag is opened, the seller could deny the return. The policy advises that further credit will be withheld or the return can be denied if the item is returned in any other condition. This is the first time I've encountered this situation with anything I've purchased from Amazon, so it came as a surprise. Needless to say I'll be keeping this suit, rather than risking the loss of untold money or denial (and responsibility for shipping back to me), since the refund decision is subjective and solely in the hands of the seller. So if you decide to order one of these suits from this seller and it doesn't fit or you don't like it for any other reason, know in advance that you will not be able to return it for a full refund (of course this wouldn't apply to defective or damaged merchandise). Had I known about this return policy in advance, I would not have ordered the suit.

Lasted a long time.
Bought these 9 years ago. Lasted probably 7 good years. Zipper ripped off the jacket last month and the pants finally got holes in themSo I would say these are good introductory type weather gear.Probably would of lasted longer had they not lived in my saddle bags between uses in the south, Midwest and California.

Too small to fit over riding gear
Ordered this on Sunday night and received it on Monday. I ordered an XL (orange/black) because the description and many reviewers say it is oversized to fit over your riding gear. I found it to be too small and tight to wear over anything beyond a t-shirt. The pants probably would have been fine, but I wanted the jacket to be large enough to wear over my leather coat in case it's already cold, then starts raining. It's now Tuesday and it is already on the way back for a refund, and I've already received a 2XL in all black (which I wanted anyway) I'll review that separately when I get home and can try it on.
