I had a version of this before. After years of use it died. The replacement had an elastic band for hand holding that I never liked much. The origami fold version wasn't available and the replacement was sloppy enough to not reliably trigger the magnetic switch on the Kindle. This cover does the job right, though it holds slightly too tightly I prefer that to the annoying sloppy cover (it died from plastic fatigue.

It does the job, I guess. I bought this one because I wasn’t able to find the original Amazon origami case for my very old but working perfectly kindle voyage. I read in bed, laying on my side so I need the case to fold a certain way. With the original origami case I could turn and would notice the difference, but with this one I do. When I’m laying on my right side, the case slides opens slowly. I have to put something in the back of it to keep it in place. I hope this helps.

The origami cover given to me along with a Kindle Voyage has finally just about reached the end of it life. I was pleased to find this one that does fit perfectly. The origami patterns are quite a bit stiffer than those one the original (sold by Kindle and no longer available, apparently) even when it was new. This, along with different and fewer patterns, makes this cover not quite as flexible in how you can use it, and not quite as stable. I am hopeful it will become more flexible with usage. The original has an almost suede softness feel to it that made it easy to hold. This is a harder finish, so it requires a bit more effort. It does fit perfectly and all buttons, connections, and sensors work perfectly with it on. The magnetic closure works well. If the original had not been so much easier to use, this would have rated 5 stars.

Decent quality but it doesn’t really stand like seen in pictures so it’s just like any other non standing cover. I wish that part of the design was solved better, sturdier. I’ll still give a few stars because it did fit perfectly on the Kindle Voyage.

Very excited that I could get a new cover for my old kindle. Really didn't want to have to buy a new kindle just because my case had worn out. This one fits perfectly. Looks nice. Added bonus is you can fold the cover up and use it as a stand for your kindle. Some of the reviews indicated that this was kind of flimsy but I think it works great.

Like it says. It’s a great little cover. I was about to buy a new Kindle, but bought this instead. Glad I did.

DO NOT PUT THIS ON YOUR KINDLE VOYAGE. IT WILL SCRATCH YOUR KINDLE. The material this is made of is not soft at all. Its made of a plastic with a sharp edge. I doubt it will protect your kindle from any type of fall. And it will scratch your kindle when you try to take it out. DO NOT put this on your kindle.
