What a great little product!!!!!

My vegan girlfriend has been struggling to crack eggs to make me breakfast. I bought this to crack raw eggs, because she would always get egg shells in the eggs when cracking them on a flat surface or against the edge of the pan.I used it on a few raw eggs and it really worked quite well. I needed 2 or 3 tries per egg, but it was really effective.She was concerned that water could be trapped in the stem after cleaning it, for fear that it might rust. So that might be a design flaw that we'll notice in the future.

The perfect solution to enjoying soft boiled eggs.

I took a star away because the photos in the description, showing a nice, perfectly circular cut at the top of the egg are inaccurate. The cut this tool makes does not allow a clean break as they show. You have to GENTLY wiggle and play with the cupped part at the egg until the top breaks free. This will break some of the shell on the remaining egg shell. Yes, it does work to get into a soft boiled egg, and it isn’t as slam dunk easy or clean as shown.I note some reviews complaining the lower part of this device being too big to fit inside. I guess those reviewers don’t know, an egg has a narrow pointy end, and the other that is much larger in diameter and that end won’t work because the of an apparent design flaw on the part of the Universe.Yes this thing works and you might need to sacrifice a couple eggs to get it right. I lost one, so I got lucky. I recommend this product.

Great way to peel an egg easier.

Sounded like a great idea. Just another gadget in the kitchen drawer.

I have never owned one of these before… and now I don’t know how I went without one for so long. Makes a perfect cut into the shell, even a very thick shell!

I found this to be a much easier way to remove the top of the egg shell than using a knife! Using a knife to get the shell off was a bit messy, but with a bit of practice this egg cracker made the process cleaner and faster.
