I am a 65 year-old lady who didn’t have $4000 they wanted for a walkway. When I was skimming through Amazon, I saw these and thought what the heck I’ll give them a try. And they worked out great. I was able to pretty much put them wherever I wanted and was able to lay my hundred foot walkway in less than an hour. These aren’t stone and would not work out well in hard ground. They worked well for me in Southeast Texas.

I don't know why so many negative reviews. I've ordered them three times now. So many different uses. I'm 70 and they are so easy to install. Just make sure the ground is moist before installing. I've had some out for three years now and no cracks or breaks.

As expected, does the job, (as temp walkway to an apartment, then will be retired to the backyard). But I originally saw these much cheaper, like $89, and in 32 quantity less than this, somewhere but then could not find them again. Not Amazon. But I needed them. For the original cost I saw I would rate them 5-Star all day long. But at this much higher price, I'll say they could be thicker more heavy-duty, and the stakes seem not so sturdy and I see some people wrote that they break. At least if they just offered 32 quantity for $250 I would be happy enough to give 5-star. It's like that. $340 for 32 is just too much. It's a simple mold and not an expensive resin.

One piece came broken in the box. Slippery when wet.

If you get any type of water in your yard don't buy these. They come out of the ground too easily. My return date was 2 days earlier.

I have about 50 of these garden steps. I got them so I don't have to walk in the water/mud when I go outside to the garbage container or to turn on the exterior faucet. They are fairly expensive, but look good. They are sturdy if installed correctly and put on a flat surface. They come with a very thorough and easy to read instruction booklet. When installing, install on a level surface and if it isn't level buy dirt or sand or get out your shovel and level the area. Don't put them over a hole or dip as your weight may crack them even though they are reinforced on the bottom side. I bought paver sand to level the ground but found I should have bought dirt because the sand compacts so much.They come with 4 spikes each to attach to each of the 4 sides on the bottom and push into the ground. The spikes go into the ground 4". The first batch I bought had larger spikes than the last 2 orders. And the spikes look cheesy now. However, when the spikes are attached, they still hold very well into the ground. Do not put patio furniture or chairs or objects that may punch through on the garden steps. The bottom is reinforced with cross members of plastic in a grid pattern - but the steps are basically hollow. They are made ONLY to be walked on as in a pathway. For me they do what I wanted them to do. They are so much nicer to walk on than the wet dirt and mud I used to have to deal with. Also, I think they look nice. They can be pulled up with a pry bar, hammer, etc. (without damage) and moved if you need to do that.
