Great addition for the bbq.
Great addition for the bbq. I do oil it after each use. I’ve had no problem with food sticking although my husband (who decided to bbq for the first time ) moved the steaks just after putting them on instead of leaving them to seal so they did stick and I had a job cleaning the tray afterwards. Now cleaned and oiled ready for the weekend! Arrived on time and we’ll packaged.

Even better quality than expected
The media could not be loaded. We had owned a cast iron skillet for many years and had relied upon it for steady, even cooking of everything barbecueable (I know, I know this isn't a real word!). When this arrived I was impressed by how thick it is - far heavier than its predecessor - so it should take the art of barbecuing to another level! The detailed instructions are not translated into broken English (as so many are now), and offered simple stupid steps to season the skillet. Fter cleaning it with a green scourer in warm, soapy water, I used the low flames of two gas burners to ensure that it was completely dry.I then covered bith sides in olive oil before literally polishing all oil off it (this is important to ensure no residual stickiness with future cooking) by using an old tea towel. Tip: Paper towel was fine for coating the skillet with oil, but use an old tea towel or other material for the buffing off of all oil at the end.

Quite big, very heavy, and hard to clean
It's unwieldy and hard to clean and maneuver.
