I absolutely loved this. And I was able to do it alone in two hours. It was relaxing. I did do it in sections started from the bottom and actually would tear the whole peace of paper off first and leave the top as outline guide. Because if you stick it to the paper stencil is very tricky to take off. I ordered this for my work place and all employee pictures will go up as we are a dysfunctional bunch but none less family.

Update: 5 starsGetting in contact with the company was so easy. I didn't realize the words and the frames were brown until I tried to use the frames to make a trunk. They said they only have brown words but are shipping out black frames to me. And not once did they imply or ask me to change my rating which was really refreshing!Original: 3 starsI didn't like the deer so I'm finding ways to leave that out. I just had to order a second one because it's not as large as it seems. Which is a bummer since I have spent $60 now whereas if the other decal I have used at my previous house was available, I would have spent half that for an extremely large decal.I messed up by pulling too much on the backing of the decal and ended up tearing the adhesive part off. So gently rub at the edges of the backing to peel it off so you can stick the decal on the wall. The set comes with extra adhesive so that's nice if you don't end up snapping the piece. I've also done that with several pieces because I also started affixing it to the wall before realizing that I wanted it to be larger. To work around that, use the tape provided to tape up the pieces so you have a better visual. The reason why the paper outline provided didn't work for me is because I'm using my own frames (5x7) rather than the ones provided. Also, if you cut a piece of paper to match the size of your photo frame, you will have made your own stencil so that you have an easier time deciding distance without having to hold up or prematurely nail in your photo frame (you can see my diy stencil in the first photo).The first pic is how it started, the second is of me wanting it closer to the ceiling. The third is how it will stay with the second set to go underneath to fill in the wall more.Updated photos to come when I get the second set.

Love this wall family tree…in fact I ordered a 2nd set so I would have additional pieces & frames. Once I started the installation with my partner it only took several hours to finish. I ordered the wood set. Good value. Get compliments for how nice it looks.I

It was really easy to customize peices to fit your setup the only thing I would change if you are able to is to buy picture frames to replace the frame that comes with the box but it came together exceptionally well on my wall with light/medium texture on the wall

I’m so in love!!! Me and my daughter put this up on Saturday - it’s now Monday and I can’t stop staring at it. It’s so beautiful! This is way better than the family tree I bought a few years ago (from a different company) and this one was 1000% easier to put up as well.The picture comes with the stencil and tools. The hardest part was lining and taping up the stencil on the wall. My husband had to step in and help with this, measuring all that good stuff. I didn’t care for the tape that came with it as it, It didn’t stick to my walls that well, and the paper kept falling, so luckily I had heavy duty painters tape and used that. I recommend having that on hand as it’s 10x thicker than the thin tape the company provides.Once you have lined the stencil up the fun begins. You can use the removal tool or a razor blade to help cut out the patters and stick the pictures. My daughter did one side using the removal tool and I used my husband pocket knife to cut out the shapes. Each shape on the stencil is numbered as well as the stickers so it’s all a match game. Remember the coloring art work you did in school where #5 green, #6 purple etc.? It’s like that. LOL! We spent I would say almost 1 1/2 hour completing it. Most of the time was spent just lining the paper on the wall and finding tougher tape to hold it. After that it was smooth sailing.The material of the sticker is thick with a beautiful glossy shine to it which is a huge bonus. It’s not some cheap plastic sticker. You’ll notice that it’s covered with plastic, so you just peel that off and presto a beautiful shine! Oh and it comes with extra sticky material which I plan to use stick the pictures in the frame. ☺️I definitely recommend if you are considering purchasing it.

This appears to a real 3D item, not stickers. I don't want stickers on my wall. Would prefer metal, resin or other truly 3D that I can move at will from place to place.

I just put this on my wall, I have to tell you all, It's Gorgeous. It took me about 2 hours to do this, you just hang the pattern, punch it out and set your pieces in place. It really is just that easy, and I was coming down with COVID and didn't know it. Totally worth a couple hours of your time for this beautiful family tree. I haven't hung the pictures yet because I waa getting sick, but you can get the idea. It's beautiful to see from all over my house.

I do love this, the only thing that I'm skeptical of is this: I'm renting our house & these are adhesive pieces that stick directly to the wall. I don't know how I am going to get it down when we move, or if I'll even be able to.It was fairly easy to put up, it comes with a sheet that has it all drawn out, you hang that up & slowly punch out the pieces & replace with the final product. As long as you like puzzles & can line them up evenly, you will have no problem.One thing I thought was tedious is each & every piece has a film over them to protect it & you have to peel every piece of the film off.
